I like to think so, though it isn't always easy. I try and learn from challenges and take something away from each one.
I will agree with Darwin, even though I stomped on his grave, on one piece of information he believed. "Adjust or die." So yes, I do embrace challenges or risk being broken.
I agree with both answers given...my motto has always been "you've got to go through it in order to get to it." So I just give challenges everything I've got and when I come out the other side I am proud.
What other choice is there except to throw in the towel? I myself face immense challenges on a daily basis, and thank God for Him and for the genes I received from my parents who were both hard workers and very persistent. My father, now deceased was a marine and his legacy to me was to never give up. Admittedly, some days it's easier said than done.
