If you had the choice of keeping your day job until you were 80 years old would you?
Yes, if I loved it and it wasn't a physical strain. Working 40+ hours at age 80 is likely to become a strain for most people. However, I know a bicycle shop owner still running his small shop, alone or with part-time employees. He still bikes and is in great shape as well. Writers and painters often go past 80, too. Some teachers and preachers do so as well.
The body generally cannot handle the persistant strain if great physical effort is required. Some careers can evolve around typical ailments and slowdown, but not all.
Most definitely not. I want a few of my good years to retire and enjoy relaxing, traveling and doing whatever I want whenever I want. When you're 80 your mobility just isn't the same so everything is that much more difficult to do. I can't see myself ever loving a job so much that I would want to work that late in life.

My family seems to have a problem with the fact that I still breastfeed my son. He has his own milk and juice but at night I like to give some extra nutrients. He is walking and starting to talk with a mouth full of teeth. Should I stop breastfeeding him?
