Has anyone here started a totally brand new and successful focus in life in his or her late 60s?
I have this intuitive sense that I am ready to zoom ahead some way on one or two or ten of my projects. If you've done that in your 60s (late 60s?) I'd love to know your secret to success. In other words, have you started something you've never done before and been successful at it (and I'm thinking mostly MONETARILY successful here although I understand that the non-material is essential as well.)
Well I am not in my 60s, but I say if you have the drive to do something new, go for it. Age doesn't need to be a factor. Plus we only get this one life. Make the most if it and follow your dreams.
donnah75, thanks so much for the encouragement. I asked because Clark Howard is in Irvine, CA today for a signing of his new book that apparently is a collection of stories of people who started whole new directions and I was fascinated. Cheers!
Colonel Sanders of KFC. Didn't start franchise KFC until he's, what? 65?
That's exactly what my counselor told me. Did you draw your profile image?Cute- have to check out your hubs on marketing. (My husband is an IT guy over 40 yrs. He programs our educational software matching games. I'm redoing my whole 15 yr old site)
I'm going thought the same thing here, Billie - but I'm in my 50s!
I sure hope success is in our future.
And Donna said it pretty well too! Gotta follow your dreams, right? No regrets then!
K, right!

To rust unburnished, not to shine in use!
As though to breathe were life!"

I wrote a little blurb on bubblews on this under Sparky (with a capital S) what's your new venture?

Okay, I just signed up like two seconds ago, and I am seriously confused. I can figure it all out (I think for the most part) on my own, once I get reading into everything, but I have one major question that I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere.Do I have to have a google adsense account to...

Brand names have lost all of their original meaning, I am considering buying a "Whirlpool" refrigerator. I alredy have a "Frigidare" kitchen range. and a "Hotpoint" clothes washer. There's already an Apple TV. Now I am waiting to see the Microsoft microwave.

If someone says the words to you, 'what goes around comes around', how do you respond?Do you agree? Disagree? Totally dismiss it? And, I have heard this stated in different terms as well.
