NEW YORK (AP) — An advocacy group is asking the Federal Trade Commission to halt ads for a widely promoted product line called Your Baby Can Read, saying the claims of teaching infants to read are false and deceptive.
The complaint was filed Tuesday by the Boston-based Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, which has led a series of campaigns against what critics call the "genius baby" industry.

I have always felt that ,even if the program worked, it's too early and too much pressure to put on a baby to read. the eyes haven't fully developed as well..

Has anyone else noticed ads coming across hubs when trying to read others' hubs?I noticed more than once while reading others' hubs that ads are placed right on top of the writer's words in their hub. I could not...
