Details of My Second Payment on HubPages

My first HubPages payment took me a long time to earn. It is common knowledge that once you earn on a site once, you tend to earn your next payment a lot quicker. That's because you learn your way around the site, what works and what doesn't. To get a clear picture of what was working I kept stats on my monthly earnings. I wrote a hub my April 2012 HubPages earnings with accurate numbers regarding new published hubs, comments and followers. What did I learn? There are several things you can do on HubPages that will help you earn more money! More on that later.

Below on the right side of the page, you can see a screen shot of my July 2012 HubPages payment. It was for $50.29. It took me two months to reach the payout.

How did I reach the HubPages payout in two months?

In May I tried another 30 hubs in 30 days challenge and couldn't complete it. Why? Food poisoning, thanks to a raw food (veggies and fruit) diet. Then the kids had a string of school and extracurricular activities that kept me from the computer. I published 8 new hubs. Did that increase my earnings? Yes.

In June, I only added one new hub. Since I didn't have time to write any hubs I decided to test a theory I had by running an experiment. Could you earn on HubPages just by leaving comments? The answer is yes! It's good to know that there is something that you can do to continue earning money.

Ebay, Amazon and Google Earnings

My ebay earnings have increased. I have made three sales through my hubs, which is irrelevant because they pay per click. In May I earned $2.77. In June ebay earnings were $1.86.

My Amazon earnings are harder to determine because I also earn through Squidoo, my blogs and other sites. I can tell you that I have earned through sales of items I recommend only through hubpages. Those sales have increased as well.

Although I have earned from Google Adsense, it hasn't been much. I don't mind because the commissions from Amazon have improved.

I hope that I encouraged you to continue creating hubs and earning money. Please, take the time to share this with your followers by email, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook or other social bookmarking site. Don't forget to leave any comments or questions below. Thanks for reading!
