Month 5 - Making the car payment via hubpages

I was flying on cloud 9. I was killing it as far as income goes. From Thanksgiving through the first 11 days of December I made a lot of money. I think it was over $200.00 and I thought I was unstoppable. I was waking up every morning to discover I had made $20.00 in sales on Amazon and the Hubpages Ad revenue was expanding too. Then on the 12th of December my traffic plummeted. It dropped to 10% of what it was on December 11th. And just like that it was over. What google giveth, google taketh away.

Since I briefly saw the potential of Hubpages I decided to create a plan to make that kind of money again. I will get into more information on that in a minute.

My views remain good on this account. I'm talking about a very steady 300 to 400 views a day and I'm making about 2 to 3 dollars a day. It's looking like I should make about $75.00 on this account for January and that's pretty darn good for what I put into it.

You may wonder why I keep saying this account. Well, in Month 5, December, on the 29th I decided to create a second Niche account. This niche account is doing absolutely amazing and is looking like it will blow away my December earnings. But you'll have to stay tuned for Month 6's edition to find out more information on that.

That being said, December was sill a great month for me, and I made enough money to cover my car payment, so I can hardly cry about that! Every month gets better than the last. I cant wait to see my final numbers for January!

If you look at month 4 I had a looong list of goals. Every one that was not complete has been completed in January. So I am not going to repost it. I'm simply going to put my new goals.

  • Reach 100k views total
  • Earn $300.00 in one month via just the HubPages ad program

Okay, that's it for right now. My Hubpages earnings and views are exceeding my expectations, so I'm finding it hard to set goals at the moment. A good problem to have. :)

I'm so glad I read your article Mandy it gives hope to a newbie! I've only been here for 14days and have already made a huge $1.57. Which I think may be a great start. I've set goals all my life and have always achieved them. Cheers!

Go Mandy, you're my hero! I'm just getting started, and while I hope to see that kind of success I'm having a lot of fun with HubPages regardless.

Wow those are impressive figures for a newbie. Mine are no where near that yet, and I have lots more hubs than you. Well done!

Learning - most of my Amazon income comes from those, but I get some amazon income from others. I've still made $50.00 in amazon in January, and only about 2 of that is from my best gift hubs.

The best gift hubs are certainly not my most visited hubs though.

      Thanks for all the encouragement!

Very impressive numbers! I don't have nearly as many hubs as you, but I've never actually made a single cent via Amazon or Ebay. I think that it is great that you are able to do make so much from that method! Keep up the awesom job, I'm sure you'll hit your 100,000 goal before you know it....
