My First 50 Hubs

Updated on February 20, 2012

My Hub Journal Part I

After almost seven months here in HubPages, I have finally reached the-almost 100 hubs. In fact, this is my 99th hub.

Listed below, by categories, are 50 of my hubs (with short descriptions) that I have written in these past seven months. I wanted to compile these hubs in one or two general hubs that will be like a journal for me. In the future, I hope to summarize my next 100 hubs in another hub journal.

10 Scandals That Rocked the Accounting World - This hub describes some of the corporate scandals that shook the accounting world and brought changes to the accounting profession.

Why You Need to Learn Accounting (the Basics, that is) - Gives some reasons why businessmen, who are not accounting graduates, still need to learn the basics of accounting.

The Tax Busy Season - An introduction on what we accountants experience during the tax busy season.

Some Things an Accountant Can't Do Without - Just some of the things we accountants need in order to do our job and do it well.

Why Did I Become an Accountant - My reasons for choosing my current profession.

Business and Self-Employment

I'm the Boss...Any Complaints? - My ranting hub when I was really p@ssed off with some of my people.

My 10 (Alternative) Career Choices - If I'm not an Accountant, what will I be? In this hub, I explore some possible (and not so possible) career choices for me.

What Do You Do When You Discover Your Employee is Cheating on You - A cross between a rant and some tips on what the employer should do when he discovers his employee cheating on him. And no, those tips do not include firing on the spot!

10 Ways to Ruin Your Employment Through Social Networking Sites - Are social networking sites boon or bane? Well, if you do any of the stuff described in this hub and post them in your site, they may very well turn out to be a bane.

8 Simple Ways to Save when You're in Business - One of my first hub and this is on how to save while you're in business.

Make Up Your Mind...St*pid - A rant on trying to make up my mind on what I really want to do in my life.

Some Filipino eCommerce Sites - Describes some of the eCommerce Sites run by Filipinos and are (mostly) for Filipinos.

Cars and Driving

My Top 10 Car Choices of All Time - My 10 dream cars, which are likely to stay in my dreams.

10 Things I Hate While Driving - The top 10 things that I hate when my husband and I go out the streets.

10 Things I Hate While Driving... Part II - The sequel to my first hub.

Reasons for Buying a Second - Hand Car - Our reasons for buying our second - hand car. Buying our car was one of the best decisions we ever made.

Unique Foods from the Philippines - Describes some of the unique (and delicious!) foods from my country.

10 Ways to Cook Goat Meat - Don't give me that look. Goat meat is actually delicious. So why not try these 10 ways to cook goat meat?

Native Kakanins (Filipino Desserts) - We, Filipinos, love eating, especially our sweet, delicious desserts. This hub features just some of those desserts.

Native Kakanins (Filipino Desserts)...Part II - Another sequel hub, featuring more of our local desserts.

How to Tame Your Stress - There are two things in life that are certain - death and taxes. With our current lifestyle, there's a third one - stress.

After the Flood Comes Leptospirosis - I wrote this hub just after two devastating typhoons swept my country. Even after these typhoons left us, the ensuing floods gave rise to this concern - leptospirosis.

Income and Finance

10 Ways to Earn Passive Income - Here I describe the 10 ways one can earn passive income. Just a bit of caveat though, these ways do not mean that one can sit back and relax and watch the money roll in. You still have to work your b@tt off before you can earn these passive income.
