   How much money should I expect to earn from hubpages?
   
   I'm not overly worried about the money side of hubpages just mainly curious, I have been on here for around a week and have 20 hubs but still am only getting a few cents a day is this normal? With more hubs comes more cents??

   There are many sites like this and all work along the same lines that the more content you produce and the more promotion you give, the higher your chances of making more money.

   Just create a few more hubs and you can quit your dayjob.
   
   Find a hot topic to write about.
   Promote your hub outside hubpages.
   And then do that again and again, then you might earn a few bucks.

   For me personally. 3 articles which is my 0 hubs. 1091 30 days pageviews and 2833 ever total views. 1st article: score 66, 2nd article: score 72, 3rd article: score 76. I earned $.01 cent on December 28, 2010 A.D. My 1st article gets all of its traffic through 100% referring sites since August 2010 A.D. and it took them 2 months to find my article and I got 0 traffic during those 2 months and I did not stress out about it and just waited patiently for them to find my article and they did and been spreading my 1st article around the world in 8 countries and 11 cities with 20 visits and 38 pageviews. I also now have 133 organic traffic through the referring sites, Google, besthubpages.com, and my 2nd article is on the Top Listings and 3rd on the list along with being on besthubpages.com since April 19, 2011 A.D. It depends where your traffic is coming from. My traffic comes from 100% referring sites, 0 direct traffic, 0 search engines. So for me the driving force behind my 3 articles is coming from referring sites 100% along with the others that I have mentioned to you. You must be patient above all else and the traffic along with the money will flow to you in abundance if you write excellent articles/hubs. Just the facts. No promotion on my part at all not even lifting a single finger to promote my 3 articles because the referring sites have done it all for me and yes it is a slow process but does give you a abundance of productivity for views that is of high quality and low visits instead of low quality and high visits through direct traffic, search engines, and any other way that you try to get views for your hubs. For me the only way to go is through 100% referring sites and they have spread my 1st article around the world in 8 countries and 11 cities with so far 20 visits and 38 pageviews and my 133 organic views is rapidly increasing around the world through the referring sites promoting my 1st article and keeps on coming back and came back 5 times between May 14, 2011 A.D. and May 22, 2011 A.D.

   Yes, it is normal. Actually, making a few cents per day after only a week is a really good start. Writing more hubs is the best way to increase everything (money, hubscore, followers, etc.). Once you've written a nice healthy bundle of hubs you can start to track which ones are popular and start focusing on your niche. You can look for a niche first, but I find it's healthier to write what you want to write first, then find a niche within your topics so you can tolerate it and not feel like you're forcing yourself to write something you don't care about.

   I'm right on the same track as you. I have been on hubpages for about a year, though, and have 15 hubs that make me a couple of cents a day. I am working on promoting them more and writing new ones, but like you, this is just a writing hobby for me, the money will just be a nice bonus later on.

   Yes, that sounds quite normal.   And yes, more Hubs means more cents.   Let's say that you make $0.05 a day for every 20 hubs you have.   So if you have 400 hubs, then you should be making at least $1 per day.   I say "at least" because it will most likely be more, since the more Hubs you have, the more likely that one visitor will visit multiple hubs in one visit.   
   
   It ramps up -- I wouldn't say exponentially, but I would say it ramps up better than linearly.

   This is the 2nd time today that I've seen a question like this. Money takes time to develop. If you're making a couple cents a day from 20 Hubs, then why not go for 40? 60? The more profitable venues you have, the quicker the money accrues.
