    Help needed please, Applying for google adsense through hubpages doesn't seem to work...

    I've tried about four or five times now. The first two times I kept getting an internal error message. I emailed hubpages and they explained there was a problem on google's part and that it would be resolved in a few days. Well it was resolved so I tried again. Each time after that I tried my application was rejected due to DOMAIN OWNERSHIP issues. Of course I do not own the hubpages domain and cannot change the html to prove I do. I happen to know computers quite well. I'm very frustrated, any advice? Please do not ask me to read your hub, I've read a ton and they all give the same answers.

    With the "domain ownership" issues coming up, I suspect the URL you are supplying Google Adsense Program with is the URL of HubPages. Log into your HubPages account, go to your profile, copy the URL at the top of your computer screen and paste that into the space you need to submit a URL (in your Google Adsense account.) It should look like this: http://skylarspring.hubpages.com

      Unfortunately, they won't let you change your url once you've entered it. I've been having the same problem trying to switch the url to a different account to try and get accepted.

    What is your country? Asian countries are trouble with adsense

    Teresa, I clicked the link in the affliate settings on hubpages. An email was sent to me from adsense with another link which I then clicked. I provided the information requested and granted hubpages access to my google account as requested. It didn't ask for a url because  I applied through hubpages.

    I will advice you to wait for some time, and retry again, but do remember that when you're asked of the website it should be www.hubpages.com and the url should look like this if you have switched to the subdomain, http://yoururlname.hubpages.com i think with time you will get in.
