Looking at 6 "Best" Hubs of a Hubber's total of a dozen Hubs: none had a score = his Hub Score! Why?
In case shortening the Question to fit the limit made my question less than clear, here is what I am asking: A newbie Hubber has a Hub Score of 73 (not bad!) but with only a dozen Hubs his six featured "Best" Hubs all had scores below his Hub Score of that 73. So, how did he get a higher Hub Score than the score of any of his "Best" Hubs?
By answering questions, asking questions, hub-hopping, and other ways of participating in the community. Very few people have ever had a 100 hub but there are several 100 hubbers around.
I have noticed this too, often it seems that the Hubber's HubScore is always higher than any of the scores of the individual hubs. At least, this is the case for me. The score calculations are kept a secret by Hubpages so we will probably never know the reason behind this. Like Becky said, it is extremely unusual to see a hub with a score of 100, but not so unusual to see hubbers with scores of 100.
I tend to not worry about it and not get hung up on any of the scores. Also, I find the scores of my individual hubs don't always reflect which ones are getting the most traffic! Instead focus more on which of your hubs are getting traffic, which aren't, etc.

While I understand that hubbers might occasionally want to share some of their own hubs with their followers, it can be frustrating to see multiple 'old' hubs shared by their owner when looking at the 'feed'. I'd like to suggest that HubPages limits the ability to do this to a certain number...

I'd love to read other hubbers' highest ranked hubs to see if there's anyway I could improve some of mine. Maybe we could all learn from each other that way. My coconut milk soap recipe hub has the best score of all of my hubs with a score of 100. Then I have a few more in the 90s, 80s and 70s. I...

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

On Friday, April 3rd, I chose two of my hubs with the highest hub scores and made one, distinct change. On Saturday, after seeing the results, I did the same thing to six more. First I will give my results, then I will explain what I did. Two hubs changed on Friday with results as...

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

Help! I woke up this morning to find that one of my mid-range performing hubs, "What is Creation, by Definition?" (http://lauraschneider.hubpages.com/hub/What-is-creation) had plummeted to a score of 55. It was 74 on Sept. 8th, 2013, and I know it is a well-written article with 3...
