How come a hubber gets a Great Discussion Starter accolade when she has not been active for a year?
It's probably because her hubs & their comments have inspired start great discussions!
The accolade reads "---- start great discussions in the comments."
The comments are those placed on that user's hubs. You don't have to be active to receive traffic - in fact many people go inactive and return to find their traffic has increased tenfold.
There are many weird things that happen. I used to work at a large defense contractor corporation. This one guy never did a thing until three in the afternoon. He would stay late to finish the days work. His results were mediocre. All of us who worked with him were miffed when he got a bonus for being such a dedicated worker. Human resources went by how much overtime he was racking up. They wondered why we weren't as dedicated!
Don't fret about what other people get. If you spend energy to make sure things are equitable, you will waste time and end up with a bitter taste in your mouth. Count your blessings and write on!
Thanks for those who took the time to answer but I guess I also need to clarify that the hubs have not been receiving any comments, all hubtivity on her hubs has been 12 months ago, which is the reason why I am confused. Which is also the reason why I asked, I guess I just wanted to know the basis of some accolades since the description says: "Has Hubs with great discussions in the comments." and hers has only about 2 comments or so.
Anyways, @WD Curry is right to say that, we should take the time to take a look more on what we can do, be grateful for what we have and better ourselves for our selfworth.

A new accolade was recently introduced regarding the number of featuring of hubs. It is a wonderful concept and everyone appreciated. Now I would like request the HP people for introducing a new kind of Accolade. If more than 60% of the hubs of a hubber is Featured, he can...

I still think comments should be comments, not discussions, that is the purpose of a forum. Maybe it would be a good idea that every author has a forum automatically made in a widget on there profile page and the topics are always the title of the Hub. That way you can discuss it and always edit...

Don't get me wrong, I review Hubs and offer suggestions because I enjoy participating in the community, not for gaining some small badge on my profile. However, I am curious at what point the accolade for helping new Hubbers arrives. I'm not keeping count, but I'd guess I've reviewed somewhere...

This evening, I started following a hubber, and noticed that she had a Hub of the Day badge on her profile. I wanted to be able to quickly locate and pull up the hub (or hubs) that received the accolade by clicking on the badge. Is this a feature that could be incorporated? Thanks,Steph
