I've only noticed this on the last few hubs. I go in and manually unlink them, but will they come back? And why are they showing up in the first place? How can we keep them from showing up at all?

Thanks, Farmer Rachel. That is good advice.
I've already taken them out. You know, they're just blue links on certain words that lead to other sources. I didn't add them myself. Why are they automatically being added?
Very strange. I haven't noticed that. Were the links to other hubpages articles or third party content?
That's good to know that they don't come back. I've been taking them out when I see them. I guess we could ask one of the staff . . . ?
The only time I've had a link come on automatically is if it were from wikipedia whereby it automatically picks up a particular name or word. For me it's been a name, but not on hubpages.
So it's a new thing, right? Is there any way to turn it off? I like to put in my own links, so I think those random links take away from what I'm trying to do.
I haven't seen any options to turn them off. But if I see any on my hubs they will certainly be removed. HP system seems to just pick random words and all too often get it wrong, linking to something totally unrelated.
But this is a new thing. The links have never been added to my hubs before. We were able to add just the ones we wanted to add.
Yeah I know Victoria, but I am pretty sure this is a HP Adprogram thing. Ask in the forum if you want further clarification. However, I have seen these types of links before when I have signed out of my account and viewed my hubs as a normal reader.
