Should I try writing an Exclusive Hub?

Kind of curious on how it will turn out, but up for the challenge!

Yes! I type in a word or two to see which exclusives pop up to make sure I find one I am capable of writing. So, you'll never see me writing about how to change an engine in a 1967 Corvette, but I will gladly write about crafts and cupcakes all day long big_smile

I've written a couple of exclusive hubs that have not done well at all. I have seen many people say this as well. But, maybe it will turn out better for you. Good luck.

Exclusive Hubs don't necessarily guarantee that you will have great traffic. An exclusive hub only designates that the title is exclusive. If there are any other "perks" I cannot answer to that. Perhaps HP can. Just as an FYI: I did write an exclusive on "What is Layaway." It didn't do very well. The content was "evergreen," but never ranked where I though it should, especially for the holidays. Some articles "fly" with Google, others not. All I know is that it is important that you create great content, etc. That is truly the only way Google will highlight your article. Good Luck!--Deb

I think exclusive hubs when published are not marked as exclusive hubs. It will be better to write the Most Popular Hub instead of Exclusive Hub. Most Popular Hub, I mean to say,  is the Hub having unique content of public interest. While selecting Hub Topic we must have command over the topic so as to engage the readers up to the last word.

I have over a dozen Exclusive-title Hubs, all doing well; and the focus I place into them is content with a different angle than seen elsewhere on the Internet, as much as possible. A couple of the Hubs took longer than usual to rise in traffic and Hub Score, but the rest rose more quickly; and I am happy with the results of them all at this point.

I would say yes, definitely. I tried an exclusive hub recently and it worked really well, I shared my experiences in the forums:

    I'll certainly be writing more.

Yes, absolutely. Like Ronna Pennington says, it's a simple as typing in a keyword on a topic you find interesting. 1 to 4 titles will be displayed. If one of those sounds interesting to you or sounds like somethin you can write on. Then go for it.  You may find it helpful to generate ideas as well. Sometimes I won't take the titles presented, but one of the titles will spark a related idea that sounds better.

Does your heart desire to write an Exclusive Hub? If so make sure it goes into the right category. In that way, you may get more traffic.

Good idea to try it. I have been writing them for a few months. I like the suggestions you get when you are writing. I just did one today and am hoping many read it. There is not tooo much difference in the Exclusive Hub and the one you regularly write. My advice is to try it.
