After how many hubs, you started to get a decent amount of money?
I have written 29 hubs, but still I am not satisfied with the amount of money I am getting from it. So after how many hubs you started to get a decent amount of money?
I guess it depends on what you consider to be a decent amount of money. If you don't consider $1.00 per day after 2 years and 126 hubs, then, no, I'm not making a decent amount. But when you consider that I was getting 50 cents a day up until a couple of months ago, then, yes, I am starting to get a decent amount of money. With 29 hubs, unless they are all winners with a lot of views and a high CPM, you won't be satisfied with what you are getting.
Yes I think you are right Paul Kuehn. But how can I know that which keywords will have high CPM?
That is a very good question which I often ask myself. You would have to look at Google trends and try to anticipate what are the hottest topics for viewers.
Thanks Paul for your reply, I really appreciate it!!
I've only made a few cents daily from my hubs and while I'm not satisfied with that there have been a lot of family issues to stop me from writing on HubPages. I'm sure that posting on a frequent basis will snowball the profits. The regular basis is still something I'm working on but I have faith that it'll work.
Good Luck CroftRoan... We hope that it will work for you
I think it has nothing to do with the quantity of the hubs but with the quality of the hubs and good keyword researching. If you write hubs with topics that people are searching for on the Internet you will earn more money. You can write hundreds of hubs but if you write about topics people are not searching for or there are already a lot of hubs with the same topic or your hubs are not indexed in the search engines, then you won't earn decent money. You can use Google Adwords keyword tool to look for keywords that have a high CPM.
BTW, when I joined HubPages about two months ago I didn't think about earning money. My main aim was to find a place to start writing and learning.
Very true Janet. I just write hubs on topics i am interested in. Now I need to concentrate more on what others are searching for.

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

Hi all,I've been here a month now and have 20 hubs, but when I read some of the forum posts I am worried that my traffic is low. I have had around 680 views total for all of my 20 hubs which averages about 6 per day for most of them, on average. I know it takes time to build up traffic and I am...
