   Can we use our Hubs in an eBook? Physical books and eBooks are not "published elsewhere on the Web".
   
   Printed books and eBooks will not be "published elsewhere on the Web", therefor would cause no duplicate issues. The ultimate re-purpose for these Hubs seems to be in book form.
   
   Here is an excerpt from the agreement:

   " As a Service User or Author, You may Not:
   
   Publish Hubs or Hub Content that are identical to, substantially similar to, or derived from other Hubs and/or content published elsewhere on the Web. This applies even if You are the owner of that content and/or have the rights to publish that content online."

   I will be following this topic, because I've been wondering the same thing. It may also depend on the rules of the people you're publishing through. For example, Kindle may decide to search the web before allowing you to publish. I don't really know. A lot of my hubs are based around the same topic and I have always thought they would make a great book some day (when I'm done writing the series). I hope someone answers your question!

      I'm believe Amazon allows you to publish an exact copy of your web content, also the eBook would not appear on the internet.

   Yes and no. Legally you have every right to publish your content anywhere you choose. However websites such as HubPages also have the right to stipulate that your hubs do not appear on any other websites. The goal is to have anyone who is interested in reading article to be required it to do so by visiting HubPages.
   With regard to publishing your content in printed books or eBooks  for Kindle and Nook where customers purchase your work there is no conflict of interest. I included several of my Hubs/blogs in my book.

      Exactly, I am aware that we can not publish our content on other sites. That's why I thought an eBook or Physical Book would be OK. I'm glad to hear you used your Hubs in a book, that was the answer I was hoping for.

   The only problem I can see is making your book buying customers angry. If your book contains only content of your various hubs and the customer finds out later they could've read the entire book free by visiting a bunch of hubs, they might get a little ticked off. If it's a few hubs combined with a lot of other original content, I don't see a problem. I've incorporated small portions of my books into hubs and I plan on using a few hubs as the basis for some non-fiction books (if I ever get around to writing them).

      Good advice: Add plenty of new content when writing an eBook or hard copy book, elaborate on the Hubs written.

   I know of several people that have written the book on hubpages and then when they edited it, taken it off of hubpages and published them. There has been no problem doing it that way.

      This is what I want to avoid. If I have to remove the Hub after creating an eBook it would undo my HubPages work. I think from reviewing the various answers and the terms of agreement that we are able to create an eBook (not published on the Web)
