I am not making any money!
I just hired my out of work roommate. Oh what the heck. I got all kinds of stuff. So I just gave most to my nephew.
Excuse me, he has a masters in business and I gave him my lame hubs. About 200. Do you think he can make some money from them?
Ericdierker- Clean them up, go to Createspace, put them into a book of "Reflections" and publish them in Kindle format, with yourself as author and him as assistant. If nothing else, your writings will be recorded forever in the Library of Congress if youcopyright them also.
DON
Don, I called you Bob the other day, I am sorry.
Really smart stuff here. I will consider.
I'm not making any money either, Eric. Don's advice is intriguing, and if you want your writing to be recorded for ever, it seems like the way to go. I'd prefer to be forgotten in the future and paid in the present. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
How fun is this!? John my son just wrote me and said he forgot all about calling me. Oh well, better to be forgotten than never gotten.
Forgotten in the future and paid in the present: I love this
My best friend is a prolific hubpages contributor and is definitely earning within the region of $2 - $4.00.
My point is, don't give up!
maybe after he had revamp your lousy hubs, he may earn some pennies..
Peachpurple that is really mean. Why would you just comment in a mean way.
Come on Ericdierker, revamp them and send them straight back out there I regularly have to revamp and update. I think the everygreen attitude is the way to go. Best of luck!
We are definitely going to revamp. I think the Thorazine and Dilatin and Hydrocodone they were giving me had a counter reaction to the Peyote and psylicibine I was using when I wrote some of them had influence.
Gabriel, people are just too polite around here to say so!
I did say smile (just incase you did a Bob thing instead of a Don thing) Anyway stop hanging around here and get on with those hubs I'll be reading your revamps with great pleasure

I'm new to HubPages, so give me a break if this is a terrible question. I nearly have 40 followers, and I have posted 15 hubs in 5-6 weeks. When do you start making the big bucks?

I know this is a topic some people may not want to talk about, but for those who do: what do you earn on Hubpages? As a new member, I am curious as to what people are making on here and how long it took to begin making some money. I know people say "wait for months" to see...

I have 29 hubs ( the 30th almost finished) yet only 1/3 get traffic at all. The goal for the rest of this month is to revamp my hubs, make them stellar (tho most of them follow stellar guidelines), make them SEO-friendly and get them promoted on social media and indexed by search engine. My goal is...

I was wondering, would Google like it better if I write a new, fresh article on a subject or revamp an old article I have written years ago on the same subject but that is currently unfeatured? This may sound like a no-brainer decision, and therefore I am leaning more towards the latter option...

It doesn't appear in hubtivity, so how do people know that you are putting out an improved hub?

Tomorrow or Sunday i will publish my 53rd Hub. I try to publish at least one Hub a week. I'm thinking of taking a week off and working on improving my Hubs. I'm only getting an average of 50-80 pageviews a day. Is it advisable to take a week off to improve my current portfolio of Hubs?
