"How to Prepare for Your New Tattoo. Tips for Before You Get Your Tattoo”

Title is way too long. You should get an email that says to fix it or something.

Yet, it is a featured hub! Don't think that would be the case with a long title, seen longer etc I reckon this is a glitch!

Has to be then. I did a long title the other day and they sent me an email and it stole 2 points off my hubber score. I don’t get a lot of the ins and outs of HP math.

I don't think HP understands it's own math. I know many writers who have left because of it. Their scoring is just ridiculous.

It can't be the title. I have plenty of hubs that have long titles (longer than yours) that are in the 80's and 90's. Not sure what could cause it, as most of mine start in the 60's and 70's. You could ask in the forum.

Thanks for your reply. I also have other long titles, can't figure it out.
Have put this up the forums too, hopefully someone may know there.

Wow, I have never seen a hubscore as low as that! It is not related to your title as they can be I believe up to 120 characters while yours is way less than that.

You need to look at how long your hub is, how many high quality, properly attributed photos you have and what HubPages advise in terms of Style Tips when you edit it. Check for grammar and spelling errors and things like that too. My hubs start off around 50 when I publish them and move up to their final hubscore which is around 89 on average, so perhaps it is just beginning that journey. Good luck!

Slowly growing in rating. All of the above have been checked, I achieved all the little ticks from hubpages! All my hubs are above 76 constantly - and of late have all begun at around 85, I used the same formula.
Just going to watch and see. Thanks.

I, too, received a low hub score of "6" for the hub I published yesterday.  I sent an email to HubPages asking them to take another look because I do not believe that is correct.  And, yes, I rechecked everything.  I'm waiting to see what response I get.
