My latest hub is a glossary of poetic terms which has taken me absolutely ages to compile - I think I've put in a solid 12 hours over a month, but this is an exception. On average, time spent is 3 hours approximately but this does vary depending on subject matter and free time available!!

For me, I do a rough draft on Text Edit and work on a couple of then at a time, back to back, at least 20 minutes a day. Like right  now, I'm doing one for next week. So, give or take, a week.

About 8 hours per hub. Here are some of my steps:
    1) Do some Keyword Research.
    2) Look at articles on the Internet to gather ideas and find out what other people are saying about my topic.
    3) Write the article in MS Word. (Helps with Spelling)
    4) Use a special MS Word addon that I bought to correct poor grammar.
    5) Use a special MS Word addon that I bought to check for plagiarism.
    6) Gather my pictures and optimize them.
    7) Publish my article on HubPages.

Depending on topic, I work one day to one month on a single hub. Sometimes it takes several months.

1-3 hours it depends of the length and how much research has to be put in it.  I usually have it written down in my journal which I type in my word program and then paste to Hub Pages.  On some of my hubs it is a matter of time of getting the proper images and videos.
When it comes to typing I can usually produce 600-700 words an hour if I am not interrupted and have a basic idea of what I want to write.

I usually spend about 2-4 days on a hub. A week at the most.

It can take me anything from 2 - 4 hours to days depending on the amount of research the hub takes. The actual process of writing takes just a few hours, like a number of hubbers I use Word to do the actual writing as it corrects spelling etc. The actual uploading of the hub can take me ages (sometimes longer than it took me to write it) so I would say the whole process:

Research - up to a week
Writing the hub - 2 to 4 hours
    Keyword Research - 1 hour
Uploading the hub - 2 to 4 hours
