I've never had this happen here before, but just now I typed out a large paragraph, saved it. ....
. . .and it's NOT THERE. It's gone, it's lost. Anyone else having this issue today?
Yes I have experienced this before. There was a problem with my internet connection, so when I pressed save, it wasn't saved. Try recovering draft.
Not today, but I have had it happen. I feel the hubpages server may have been a bit patchy of late.
I found the draft of mine and used that, so saved my article and just needed to update the bit that got lost. Gotta love the draft.
Sometimes just hitting the back button on the browser will work to find it again.
I anticipate that with any onilne server thingy this issue. So I write in word, then copy and paste to here. Edit, add photos and boxes... So if it does happen I don't have to retype.
It used to happen all the time with the online file system we had at work, so you'd just writie it in word and then upload, and when it took two or three tries you knew it was best!
Happens all the time. I do the same as abbasangel. Saves having to rewrite. If the creativity is flowing and you lose what you have written it is often hard to get back into that same zone.
I've not had that, but a few times I've clicked in the answer box, and there is my cursor ready to fire into action, started to type, I have to look at the keyboard to type, ok. I'm typing away, I look at the screen and find myself with no cursor, no text, and at the bottom of all the other answers, whatever, on the page, I then go back to the answer box and start again and it is all right.
I try to type my words in Word so I have a copy in case that happens. Always save it in Word if possible.
yes of course. And i find out that when you click save button you can see text ' loading'.At that time when you go back the content will not be saved. After clicking the save button wait some seconds. I hope it's the problem

I've noticed, as I was browsing over a lot of the newest "Hubbers" that most of them started off strong, with this idealistic vision of how, what, when they were going to write, and it was going to be Amazing; However, as time went by, it seems they only came to write one Hub and just...

Have you ever ripped a book apart because the ending was bad?I once read a book where the main character died, his wife was raped and died during childbirth, all of his fellow heroes died, and his kingdom was plunged into chaos. I tore the book in half and threw it against the wall. Have you ever...

What's the least amount of views per hub that you would accept before deleting it?Not sure if the question is clear, but what is your criteria for deleting a hub? We know that hubs that do not do well will drag the hubs with potential. When do you delete? How much traffic per month that would make...

You know how you sometimes write a blog and sometimes the most unexpected people read it? Well, I've been approached by Huffington Post to speak when they have a conversation about the things I write about! I don't really mention things when they happen once because people can change their minds,...

Wow - I've never had this happen in the 2 years I've been here. Someone left a comment on one of my hubs - calling me an idiot and saying a bunch of hateful things....wow, don't know what to do except just ignore it I guess. Has anyone else had this happen and how did you respond? For the first...
