I haven’t received any notifications via e-mail from hubpages for the past three days. Also no response to my query. My account settings are correct. So what could be the problem?

I would like to see an indication on the Home Page (I use the standard) if someone leaves fan mail (or joins as a follower), a notification similar to comments left would be nice. You typically do not see this, or at least I don’t, until you open the fan mail box in “my account” or happen to see it...

Why am I NOT getting e-mail notifications>I am following a LOT of hubbers and I should be getting e-mail notifications when any are active. I am not even getting notified when I get comments on my hubs. I am not being notified of Forums or Questins. I am concerned.

SUGGESTION: Deactivate links contained in fan mail.
With the recent restrictions placed on links within the new format profile, it seems incongruous (to me) that Hubbers are able to include an active link back to their own profile, within fan mail sent to others.I know it's easy enough to deny the comment, but I don't think people necessarily...
