Violations not detailed enough to indicate what actual problems are

   Hello,
   
   I have tried editing and re-submitting this hub a few times and even tried the "contact us" link to get a better answer to my question(s) below. I have NOT gotten a response from ANY of the HubPages staff, nor have I been supplied with the "specific" information required to make any corrections that may be needed (if necessary).

   The (2) violations cited are:
   
   1- Overly Promotional - HubPages Policy used to be that as long as you had a "minimum" of outside links (two or fewer), that this was acceptable.
   
   *This Hub only contains one link to an outside source that is part of my "signature line".
   
   2- Unrelated Links or Products - ???
   
   *AGAIN - This Hub only contains one link to an outside source that is part of my "signature line".
   **Otherwise, ALL the other LINKS included in this Hub go to other HubPages articles that are specifically relevant to the paragraph of material that they are being quoted/used in.

      The bottom line is ANY link has to be related to the hub material...signature included. That would also include any links to merchandise displayed in Amazon capsules or Ebay capsules as well.

      Thanks everyone for all the input - Still haven't heard anything from HubPages Staff directly...
      
      - There are no amazon links (let alone non-releated) and ALL other links are to relevant content that fit the story.
      
      - Nothing linked inappropriately from photos either as also mentioned in one of the threads.
      
      - Otherwise, must simply be the (1) Signature line (although I am still NOT quite understanding the violation, since HubPages policy still allows up to (2) Links to "outside sources" (related or not) is the way that specific rule reads?
      So.... (are these therefore contradictory rules in the policy?).
      *Also to note , I have this same signature line on ALL of my other Hubs over the years without it ever being cited as an "issue".

   Did you also check on any links that are included with photos? Sometimes Hubbers forget to check those.
   
   As for the Unrelated Links or Products - that could be talking about something that appears in an Amazon or eBay capsule, if you are using them. Double-check to see if either of those possibilities could be causing problems.

   Including any link that is not specifically and directly related to the topic discussed in the Hub is considered unrelated.  Linking to your own outside (non-HubPages) site may be the problem, and you may wish to revisit that "signature" link to make sure it's not off-topic.  (you being the author of both sites is not "relevant.")
