I have spent a maddening Sunday afternoon trying to put a notice at the bottom of a hub (and subsequently to all of my hubs) saying simply: "To investigate joining the HupPages community of writers click here. The link URL I put for click here was https://hubpages.com/signin/. But it was redirected to my feed URL http://hubpages.com/feed/, to which a potential new writer could only shake his or head in confusion. The one and only page that makes any sense for a new visitor interested in joining is the sign in page which has a "take a tour" button.
I was also trying to paste a referral tracker but gave up. After 3 hours of trying I figured that the way to create and insert one has changed
I inserted URL/_mytracker. Didn't work with or without https://
I shall now try to catch the END of the Jets game.
The link you want is https://hubpages.com/user/new/
Insert the tracker after the .com/ and before the user/
Unless it has changed, of course.
That's because you're confusing "sign IN" with "sign UP". The correct link is as Izzy says, and the tracker goes after the .com.

I've had a few people sign up under my trackers when I send out emails of my hubs, but I was wondering what some of the rest of you have done as far as setting up a more unique way to have friends and family sign up here at hubpages? For some strange reason I don't think my profile link for sign...
