I tried to set up a Google AdSense account a few months ago in relation to an electronics web-site I had. My account was not approved by Google, presumably due to low traffic numbers or because I am based in Vietnam.
Now when I try to associate my hubpages account with Google AdSense I am not allowed.
Also in this country there is no zip code for addresses which is a question I am asked when I try to associate my hubpages account.
It seems like there is some big business logic mix up between Hubpages and Google where an AdSense account has been previously disallowed for perfectly normal reasons such a low site traffic.
I'd say the disapproval was more likely in relation to the minimum six month wait rule that apples to many parts of Asia/India.
I've never heard of low traffic being a reason not to get an account. It's content and location they look at.
Are you able to reapply directly using your HP account? I doubt you'll get accepted unless you wait though. Particularly with one hub and a two day old account!
I had a hard time applying directly using my HP account. It told me I didn't own the domain and thus couldn't approve me. I ended up getting AdSense through my blog - which I don't really own the domain name either. It's my blog name dot blog dot com. But It worked. I'm also wondering how I can connect it to my HP account
Just follow the instructions.

Yay! Thank you! I had even read that too once a while ago, but at the time it didn't seem applicable to me! Cheers friend!
As Wry says, low traffic is not a reason to be denied Adsense. I'm pretty sure Vietnam is affected by the six month rule - i.e. your site needs to be at least six months old - so that's most likely the reason. You'll have the same problem trying to apply through HubPages.
I suggest you enter four zero's.
With only one Hub, there's no way you'd get approved for Adsense anyway. You need to demonstrate that you can write good content in reasonable quantities. HubPages' recommends writing "a few" Hubs - I'd write 10 or 12 - but in your case, I would simply reapply with your website, assuming it's been a few months since you last applied. You only need one Adsense account.
Thanks for your help. I hope hubpages will avoid ebay style tactics and just tell users exactly what to expect. I don't use ebay anymore because they don't talk straight. I guess I will add content very slowly over the next 6 months and see how it goes.

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

While I link my Adsense account, it directs me to Google, which then asks if I want to accept the association, I say yes, then it directs me back to Hubpages, but it just loads a blank page, nothing comes up. I could not find anything like this in the help section, is there something else I need to...

Since 2010, I've been accumulating pennies in my Google Adsense account, waiting for the day I'd hit the $100 pay threshold. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, it was at $94 and change. Today, all the numbers are GONE!!! I see no evidence that it's been added to my HubPages ads...
