      Hello, welcome to hub Pages!! A good tip to succeed is have fun; write hubs that you like and whenever needing a guide just come to the community! Success doesn't come in a day, you'll have to work but it depends on the effort you put in it. and oh! Here you have a learning center and great hubs about how succeeding, writing great hubs and have income! You may candidate yourself to be an apprentice. About the community, don't be shy just get yourself into a conversion and that's it! sometimes you have to give the first step!

      Don't develop a case of hubber frenzy syndrome. You can waste a lot of time trying to collect followers and raising your scores. Remember, all of the accolades and stuff are what is called a "Token Economy" in behavior modification circles. Take your time, because there isn't much in the way of $ to be had around here unless you stay for 40 years and have an extensive social media network. It works out to something like 30-50,000 views to make $100. If I am wrong, someone will correct that shortly.
      
      Personally, I like the exchange with people on the other side of the world. The religion forums are a joke. That's why I like them. Trolling for trolls!

      Welcome to hubpages. Enjoy what you're doing, read random hubs to see how good hubs look and to get ideas about how to use the tools. I'm still learning myself, especially the technical side of internet writing. You've received a lot of good tips. The community is great. I wish you success.

      Welcome, welcome, I trust that you will enjoy it here.  There are plenty of ways to succeed at Hubpages, but it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for friends, daily insights, words of inspiration, and lots and lots of data, you found a gold mine. As for revenues, I don't know about that yet.

   Welcome to Hubpages and good luck with your writing. I liked your first hub on African proverbs.
   
   If you go to "getting help for hubpages discussions" you can read "frequently asked questions" and then you could click on "the learning centre". I still have much to learn.
   
   When you feel ready you can get more expert advice by submitting a named hub to be improved by some expert hubbers.

   Write a lot of high-quality hubs, comment and give feedback on other people's posts, follow people and make friends.

   Welcome to Hub Pages. Hope you have much success on this site. Comment on other people's hubs and follow other hubbers. Also write interesting, engaging, informative hubs with relevant keywords and images. Link similar hubs to each other. Share hubs with others. Participate in the forums and answer questions and ask questions too. Hope this helps.

   Being active in "Forums" and "Ask" is always helpful. I didn't start using these sections much until a couple months ago, and since then I got lots of "Followers." Followers help spread the word about your hubs. Also, follow people, too. They usually return the favor

   Welcome to Hubpages, elechifrank.  If you love to write and earn a little money on the side, Hubpages is a great place for you.  We have a friendly and very helpful community here... all you need to do is ask if you need any help.
   
   On my first month here on Hubpages, I did the 30hubs in 30days challenge.  It was difficult and almost all my first writings were rubbish.  I still write rubbish, but much better rubbish.  lol  But the challenge gave me a goal to focus on and motivation to write everyday.   You might give that a try.
   
   As I was new writing online, I wrote on several topics to find my niche.  I didn't know about SEO and backlinks.  I just wrote about things I knew and passionate about.  That was two years ago though, and I just got lucky.  Things are different now.  So, I advise you to learn from Hubpages Learning Center and follow the forums regularly to find out what's going on.
   
   Also, I made friends with other newbies and that made my first few months enjoyable as we shared newbie experience.  I advise you to do the same.

    Welcome! This is a great community! I am a little ashamed that I haven´t contributed too much and have been a member for over 4 years.I have tried to figure out how this works on my own and clearly it was a mistake.
    
    So, always ask for directions and tips on the forum! Everyone is here to help.
    
    Writing content online and earning an income from it is possible, a few members make $2,000+ per month in passive income from their hubs for something they have done once!  So, do keyword research and start writing information rich and helpful articles.People will share them all over the web and in return you will get compensation month after month!
