Could any one please tell me why my hubs could stay for about 24 hours without being published. When I clicked the published button, I got the message that says that it is going to be reviewed after which it will be published but it is almost 24 hrs now and I am still getting the same message. Thanks
It could be your low hubscore. I'm seeing an accolade for 10 hubs published by you, however there are no hubs listed. What happened to your other hubs? Have you had problems with your hubs being approved in the past?
All hubs are published immediately if you go the the exact url. But they are not given ads or released to search engines until reviewed.
yes, you both were right. I joined the site last year and had to stop using the site for a long time because after I published about 15 hubs, 3 of my hubs were unpublished that they discovered post similar to them on another sites. Before I could know, all other hubs were also unpublished and When I look at my profile, I could see no hubs. That got me angry, I stopped using HP as all the posts I made were not plagiarize. This is the post I am making since then
It always takes mine 24 hours or a little more. The longest mine have taken to be published was around 36 hours.
Thanks so much. When I first joined HP, my hubs get published immediately I hit publish tab but not sure what happened why the system has changed.
The hobs I spoke about yesterday was published late last night but at present I still have another hub pending. I am comforted that I am not the only one that goes through this. Thanks
A few months back Hubpages added the active versus idle hub feature. When that went into effect the waiting period started. All hubs sit for 24 hours no to be reviewed before they are published openly. We get a local copy that is published but is in pending status. After it is done pending, it is released to the search engines.
Thanks immensely for your comments. They are very helpful. I was beginning to be discouraged again when my hub was left pending for that long but your comments gave me clue as to what is happening. Thanks a lot.
Your welcome! It hit me after your last post that you may not have been familiar with the change in how publishing is working. I get impatient waiting for my hubs to post because I want to see how soon I get my first search engine hits, but they do get posted generally close to the 24 hour window.
Keep writing and enjoy
Sounds like HP had a problem with the three hubs they unpublished, and as a result took the precaution of unpublishing 'ALL' of your hubs (they often do this if they consider an author a high risk). If it isn't this then it is likely all your other hubs have been 'Idled' and need tweaking to get them resubmitted for publication (a simple update of info, change of title etc). If they have been idled you will be able to see them on your 'account' page (but not on your profile page), but in the far right column there will be no symbol showing. If they are 'Featured' and 'live' there will be a white 'H' on a black background next to them. If you have two arrows forming a circle it means the hub is pending approval, and this normally takes about 24 hours or more. If in doubt email the team to ask at team@hubpages.com
Good Luck
From looking at the few Hubs which you still have active, I suggest fixing typos and grammatical errors, and stop keyword stuffing. Doing those three things should help a lot.
I read the Eco Green toys only to find you going all over the place, off topic. Your pics of slummy neighborhoods is horrible for this hub. You are writing about Eco green toys not the environment. The entire portion about who does and does not celebrate Christmas has nothing to do with Eco green toys. Another tip. Your profile needs cleaning up.
Thanks every body for your comments,I have worked on some of your comments/recommendations and will still work on the rest. You could still review them to make your comments or recommendations . Thanks and Cheers!

Hello,On other sites where there is a "wait" period before articles move out of pending status, they allow authors with an established reputation to apply for exemptions to the wait time.I just tried to tweet my latest book review to Oprah magazine, since she asked in a Tweet today what...

I love HubPages, I feel that I have learned so much here and my confidence in writing non-fiction took such a huge leap when I was invited onto the Apprenticeship program last year. I have met some wonderful people here - both staff and other Hubbers. But as may other people have said, the idling...

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...

It looks like HP may have found a way of "Blocking the Bot" during pending. For my latest hub that has been in the sin bin for 20 hours (pending) the bot tracker message says "Not recently crawled". This means the bot has no seen the "noindex" tag and gone on vacation...

I think my account run into a maze of bugs hehehe...I think my account GeneralHowitzer has a bug... Every time I edit my hubs an alert like substandard, unrelated links, etc. appears. And before I edit a hub this also appears: "Note: "This Hub is currently published. However, if you make...
