Hi,
I was informed by a hubber that one of my hubs " How to lose body fat and reduce stomach fat easily" has been copied by a blogger and published on blogger.com. This blogger has not left any links to his profile. It was with great difficulty that I have been able to track down this thief's profile page.
On going through his list of blogs and viewing some related to my topics, I found that he has copied 7 hubs of mine in their entirety including pics, links, amazon, ebay, even links to my other hubs. I know of 3 other hubbers whose work also has been copied in its entirety.
I believe this blogger has copied many more hubs so I would request all hubbers who read this topic to visit his blogs from his profile page and check out if their copied hubs have been published on his blogs.
The link to his profile page is where he has listed all his blogs is :
http://www.blogger.com/profile/10336621436248042740
Also, I would request veteran hubbers guidance in this respect.
Thanks.
That's such a drag! But, that's just a part of humanity that we all occasionally have to deal with. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to rectify the situation. It appears other hubbers have already got you on the right track, but feel free to contact me anytime if you need further assistance.
I had it in my history...I reported the same blogger yesterday for taking one of mine.
I don't think I'll ever be able to understand people who feel there is nothing wrong with stealing another persons writing. Maybe they have never written anything before and don't realize how much work it takes to produce a polished product. Maybe they just live in one of those 3rd world countries that abuse the internet with scams and schemes.
What's kinda freaky is they copied it whole... leaving in my daughters name and pictures of my pans. Kinda creepy.
That is very unsettling indeed. I wouldn't fret to much over it however because that probably means they are just copying articles without actually spending time to read through them. We should try to track them down
I can't figure how he copys photos so well. He copied my Hub on my daughter winning 18 college scholarships along with my personal photos of her, and our family! I sure don't like that! I have reported him.
I respect your opinion...however your conclusion bout third world countries irks me. It is demeaning, hurting n unthoughtful.
I've written to him to take it down in 24 hours after which I'll be filing a DMCA.
Put some spaces in the address, which is what I did in the link above. Those interested can copy it to the navigation bar, take the spaces out and still find the site.
I checked that guys blog and it should be brought down completely...there is no visible original work by that thief...these are the kind of guys who bring disrepute to blogging and bloggers.

Wow Rajan, he even copied "©Rajan Jolly".
You might consider putting some spaces in the URL, so as not to give the offender a backlink.
rm, can you tell me how it can be done? Thanks.
For reference, here is the HubPages guide to filing a DMCA: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/how- … -complaint
I'm sorry this happened to you, rajan jolly!
Oh Rajan, see how good your work is? It really is. I, too, am sorry this happened. It happened a while back to me, when I was doing the 30/30. I found it amazing too, that it was copied word for word along with my copyright on the bottom. However, this seems to spring up every once in a while. Thankfully another hubber usually catches it and gives us the opportunity to stop it!
I had to write to the DMCA and that did the trick. Good luck with your quest.
Yes Mary, it is very frustrating to find one's hard work being so blatantly copied. I'll be filing a DMCA tommorrow. Thanks for the concern, Mary.
how can i report that kind of incident if it happen to me? and where?
This is just terrible! How can we put a space in the URL? I didn't think we could change that? Rajan does excellent Hubs with a lot of detail and hard work!
You have a chance to edit your postings within a few hours.
Mary, I even I was wondering how to put a space in the URL.
Personally, I wouldn't even ask him/her to remove it. This person has a number of blogs and I bet all of them are copied from others. I'd just send a DMCA for every single copied article.
Thanks Uninvited writer, I'll be doing just that!
I have just reported a plagiarized hub of mine today. This guy is a creep who obviously is clueless on copyright. He copied me word for word including photographs that I took.
This story may get some legs. http://www.seroundtable.com/scrapers-ru … 16267.html I've sent several examples to google in the past....
rajan - I'm sorry this happened to you. It's a feeling of privacy invasion. This has happened to several of my hubs. It makes me furious!
This guy can't even spell. Some of his titles have typos. And I tried clicking on the links to his profile and nothing happens. He's most likely a first rate scammer - urhgggg!
This blogger has stolen three of my best performing Hubs complete with my original family photos! I have asked him to remove my work, but also have reported him to Google using the proper form. That sure took some time, but I hope he will be stopped!
In addition to Rajan and others mentioned here that are aware of this thief, I saw one of billybuc's Hub on Frugal Grocery Shopping. I emailed him to let him know about that.
I just checked this guy's blogs, and my Thanksgiving Hub is still there! I sent in another complaint to Google. I also wrote in the comment section to him to please remove my work. I don't know what else to do. I still see Rajan's Pineapple article, too.
Mary, I fail to understand why its taking so long for Google to remove these copied posts or to ban the account of the thief who has indulged in mass theft of hubs/articles. My copied hubs are still there.
I feel very helpless at this point. I just refiled complaints last evening. What can we do????
Yea..checked the blog n all hub r still there...google should act with more pace this guy is a big shame

I recently found one of my hubs copied on a blogger blog. The whole text, images and amazon adverts were there!I contacted another hubber Rajan Jolly as one of his hubs was also copied. I have to thank him for identifying and locating this blogger's profile here. It seems he has about 40 blogs on a...

I have noticed in the past few days while Hub Hopping and scanning my feed that there are a plethora of new hubs and hubbers joining the site and publishing low quality or poorly translated/spun hubs. When I click on the profile after flagging the hubs, I notice that there is no information about...

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

Dear Hubbers. I've recently noticed so many changes on Hubpages. I had no internet for a week and upon my return things look so different. I like the cleaner white pages with the underline beneath the titles. The column width seems narrower, while now advertisements show up on both left and right...

Sorry if this is not the proper Forum Category to post this in.I've updated my Profile Page to include links to some of my hubs. Is that helpful? Can you take a look and see if there are any changes you would make? http://hubpages.com/profile/broussardleslieDoes your profile page really even...
