How do you make borders in between paragraphs?

I think I've seen this asked and answered before but I might be a little thick? I've attempted to add an image into a capsule and place it between paragraphs but it comes out huge rather than a thin border.

I'll be completely honest when I say that most of the HubPages staff aren't fans of these border images, but the way it's done is folks create thin images that they then insert as full-width images through the Photo Capsule.
You just have to create a very thin image to upload. Though... we don't really condone it. 90% don't look good...

        Simone,
Thanks, I appreciate the honesty. I've seen them on some pages and in some cases they look really good... I thought I was missing out on using a good feature. If HP feels that way about them, then I'll continue to "not know how to do it". Thanks :-)

Cantuhearmescream and Simone, I am so pleased to read this. Yay, I'm doing OK after all, and without the borders. Cartwheels all around.
