   So, like, how come none of you other slackers started a Mother's Day thread this morning.
   
   Moms are under appreciated. Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there.
   
   Hopefully this thread will garner some posts before it gets buried somewhere on the religion/politics page...

      I'm sorry to hear it has been hard for you.  I remember also the year my mother passed and Mother's Day was very soon after her death. It's ok to feel your emotions, and embrace them.  I hope the day is better for you tomorrow.

         This is my second Mother's Day without my mom. She died before I graduated in 2011 from college, so did my dad. I told her I was going to finish. I miss her so much. I haven't wished her a Happy Mother's Day up here but on Facebook and Twitter.
         
         Anyway, to all the moms on HubPages; Happy Mother's Day.

   I'm so sorry for you loss davidlivermore.  I imagine you did have a day filled with a lot of grief.  Hopefully in time there are happier moments to remember from the past that will help to make the day about good memories.  Sending my thoughts to you.

      Time is a great healer.
      
      You sound young - only recently graduated - this is the worst pain you will ever feel in your life (hopefully).
      
      It will pass.
      
      There will come a time when you can look back on the happy times, without feeling the pain.
      
      Meanwhile, I send you my deepest condolences.

    Happy Mother's Day to all. Had celebrated Mother's Day yesterday with my mother in law at her house having satay, rendang chicken, fried chicken and rice. Was an awesome, fatty meal ! Celebrated with my own mom on Friday night. A 2 hours visit just to hug her, kiss her and hold her hands. Today is normal working day.

    Had a lovely day despite having to share it with my husbands birthday.  I got the take out and the rest of the family got the ice cream cake.  Everyone was delighted.  Thanks for your good wishes.
