   I know things have been tough for many of us this year for various reasons.  Finding things to be thankful for seems to be a harder task for many now-a-days.  As a daughter and grandaughter, I am proud to state that no matter how imperfect the world may be, I am thankful to have a mother and grandmother who I know did their best to raise me in the best way that they knew.  For that, I'm very thankful.  They are wonderful ladies and even though I don't say it nearly enough times, I do love them very much. 
   
   Here's hoping that each of your children will take the time to at least wish you well on this special day!
   
   I also hope that each of you get to take a moment and give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back since I'm realizing more and more that being a mother is indeed one of the most challenging, yet potentially satisfying, life time job there is in the world.

   Thanks princessa!  I'm off for a very special Mother's day Dinner.  My eldest daughter has rented me out to all her friends here in China who are missing their moms on mother's Day

   The unusual thing is in the UK Mother's Day was ages ago.  Is it just America/Americans/South Africans that celebrate Mother's Day today or does all of the world?
