Please suggest a shorter keyword for "1940s style dresses"?
"fashion 1940s", (and it's derivatives), will get you some good results

Sounds like this will make for an interesting hub! I love reading about the WWII era, though I have to say I don't know the first thing about dresses!
Might be useful research for writing fiction set in the 1940s though. Could luck with your hub!
In answer to your original question, how about: "vintage gowns"
40s style only brings in 880 global monthly searches while 40s style dresses brings in 1900.
1940s Fashion brings in 22,000 GBS and advertiser competition is high for this keyword which means more money for you.
1940s clothing brings 3,600 GBS with high advertiser competition. more so than the above. I would go with this one.
"Vintage" is the biggie in-word. Frankly I'm shocked that the clothes my mother or her mother wore are now commanding such interest.
Swing Dresses, 40's fashion, or... check out this hub its very good..

What advice do you have for other hubbers?I'm just getting back into writing on HP, and it feels like idk how to write anymore. I'd like to reach $100/month- and of course, I'm sure others would. Do you have any advice in terms of SEO, writing, and topic selection that is relevant today?

I am okay at writing and can go way more in depth then I have, however I am not sure it is necessary to have a good profitable hub. I only do things that are fun to me, but I was just wondering about a couple things.1.) I am suggesting links using the suggested links in hubpages, now I knows its...
