I'm trying to insert an Amazon URL for a specific product. When I put in the URL and save the capsule, the capsule on the Hub says:
"Amazon is not providing us a price for this item. Therefore it can not be displayed."
Yet, the product is live on Amazon with a price. How can I fix this?
Happens to me all the time, especially with Kindle books.
Another frustration I've encountered when using Amazon is sometimes the image of the product won't display and this text is given instead: "Image not available." This happens when there is an image on the Amazon site but it won't pop in the capsule on HubPages.
One out of the two products I was trying to display is now showing, but without an image. It says: "Image not available" but there is an image on the Amazon site.
Try inserting with the code instead? ASIN or USIN (Is that what they're called?) You know what I mean anyway
Update on this: I'm noticing it happening far more frequently.
I just checked some old Hubs, which were showing Amazon ads just fine. They were all showing "Amazon is not providing us a price for this item. Therefore it can not be displayed."
I've had to clear everything, start over, and find the same product using keywords. If I do that, the product displays just fine.
I'm having a problem with the Amazon capsule, too. Nothing happens when I type something into the boxes (direct URL, search, etc). I click the buttons and nothing happens at all.
I just tested and the Amazon product capsule works for me in Chrome.
Do you get a result for this code?
Also, make sure you are not using any sort of ad blocking software.
Thanks. It's working now. I had no idea I was even using an ad blocker. For a year and a half I didn't know how other people could preview their articles with ads in them because mine never showed...
Guess it's time to go edit some white space, lol.

I just inserted an Amazon capsule at the bottom of an existing hub, but can't get it to upload anything. I've tried inserting the ISBN number, the URL, and a keyword set for all categories. Nothing works. Any idea what's causing it?Here's the URL of my...

I was totally dismayed to learn that Ad-Blocking software is used by 41% of people. (The statistic appeared in "The Week" magazine.) That reduces impressions. We get 60% of views, but only 59% of those views yield ad impressions so only 35% of our views gives us earnings. If you get 1000...

So, this is the third time HP has snipped Amazon from my hubs. Every time one of my Hubs is edited by HubPages to add to a network site they snip any Amazon capsules on the Hub. The Amazon capsule is always extremely relevant to the topic discussed and is not spammy, yet HubPages doesn't seem to...

I understand the rationale for removing amazon capsules. I'm very careful not to include amazon capsules unless they are 100% relevant, and I can provide a personal opinion. I rarely do more than one per hub.HP is not only snipping amazon capsules on hubs for niche sites, but also just to have a...

I went to add another product to an existing hub created last month, and all products disappeared, leaving the no products label. I took off the third product and the other two showed again. I added it, and all three disappeared again.Added the third product to a different capsule, and it shows...

They've always had us beat in Amazon sales, and we're pleased to announce that we're adopting their Amazon product design.Squidoo has done extensive testing on their...
