Okay, so there's this idiot on hubpages that hubnapped my hub the other day. I demanded that he/she/it remove it; which they did. However, they joined my fan club. I denied it when it popped up, but it doesn't matter- the stinky nasty hubnabber is still on my fan page, next to my real fans.
Anybody know of a way to delete a "fan"?
Amy
I don't think there is an option for deleting/rejecting a fan. Why not send this fan a message telling him/her that you wish him/her to self-eject! What a bummer, huh?
Are you kidding me?? She joined your fan club!!!!! That's just WRONG!
I wouldn't email the person. When you email someone through the HubPages contact link you expose your email. The best thing to do is let it die down and stop worrying about it.
Glad I'm not that fan... but you have a new one...
Happy hubbing Amy and best wishes to resolve this issue!
ProCW
I took the error message to mean that HubPages pulled the hub, not her. Am I wrong?
I would email the Administrator of this site and explain the issue in detail. They can do that stuff like removing people from your fan list through the "back end" on the website.....
They definitely can, and they most probably won't. Real life resemblance is one of the things that makes this site such a fun to be on
I checked your fan list, seems those are all decent fans to me as they are on many fan lists,
although they did what they should not have, give her another chance and see how it all works out. But just like Misha says you can choose your fans.
you must be having a wonderful life then huh? good for you. Someone deserves to be happy.....
Oh, that's easy, just remember what our friend Bobby once sang

Please send your unwanted fans over to me. My hospitality is boundless, my rates are cheaper, and the rooms are clean! Besides I need more fans!
You guys are too funny! Proud Mom ~ Yes, she/he/it (whatever) joined my fan club. It's the last one on the list, ironically. I probably shouldn't have sent the message. It wasn't a very nice one, either!
Thanks to all for your suggestions. I'll contact the administrator and see if they can flick her off. I have nice fans who don't steal hubs, and I think I'll just keep them! She also sent me a message when she joined my fan club, that was all cryptic and weird like she was taunting me. (Which really isn't a great plan.) That part didn't post... it's just weird.
Anyway - thanks, I'll try some of your suggestions!
Oh, Bard~ You don't want this one ! I'll come over and be your biggest fan!
My list of fans has a "deny" button next to each-- I have never deleted one, but I would assume this button could eject one. On the other hand, the 'deny' might be just for comments posted.
If you DO delete-- the message you posted above will make people think you are talking about the one above the ejectee.
Hey Rochelle,
I hit the deny/delete button. It only got rid of the comment, not the fan. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
It's me isn't it? Dammit!!! Why must I try so hard to make friends?!?! I always do that!!! Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!

Might be a brain fart here, but I have a couple of fans I'd like to leave fan mail for...how do you find that option? TX in advance.

First, why does anyone go proactively looking for fans?Do they? There are people who joined after me and have, at best, questionable quality hubs, yet seem to have fans in the double digits. To me, that can only be the result of them proactively working on getting fans. Why?There are hubs here,...

Practice that I find deplorable someone fans you hoping that you'll come read some of their hubs and comment and maybe even fan them, then after they get what they want they drop you. They want to have lots of fans but be a fan of only a few I guess. In your hubtivity it doesn't show...

How does someone get 100 plus fans in a short period of time? I like having fans but I wonder what it means when a hubber adds hundreds of fans in only one day or less? You know what I mean you see you have a new fan but check out their fans you see hundreds of fans in a short period of time...

why hasn't anyone joined my fan club? Did I set it wrong?

What if you just go down the list of all hubbers and automatically fan everyone. I know in a lot of sites this is considered a negative thing to do and it will drop your reputation or whatever. What happens to fan whores on hubpages? Someone who knows please tell.
