How do I get rid of a fan?

Okay, so there's this idiot on hubpages that hubnapped my hub the other day.  I demanded that he/she/it remove it; which they did. However, they joined my fan club.  I denied it when it popped up, but it doesn't matter- the stinky nasty hubnabber is still on my fan page, next to my real fans.
Anybody know of a way to delete a "fan"?

I don't think there is an option for deleting/rejecting a fan. Why not send this fan a message telling him/her that you wish him/her to self-eject! What a bummer, huh?

I wouldn't email the person. When you email someone through the HubPages contact link you expose your email. The best thing to do is let it die down and stop worrying about it.

I took the error message to mean that HubPages pulled the hub, not her.  Am I wrong?

I would email the Administrator of this site and explain the issue in detail. They can do that stuff like removing people from your fan list through the "back end" on the website..... smile

They definitely can, and they most probably won't. Real life resemblance is one of the things that makes this site such a fun to be on smile

I checked your fan list, seems those are all decent fans to me as they are on many fan lists,
although they did what they should not have, give her another chance and see how it all works out. But just like Misha says you can choose your fans.sad

You guys are too funny!  Proud Mom ~ Yes, she/he/it (whatever) joined my fan club.  It's the last one on the list, ironically.  I probably shouldn't have sent the message.  It wasn't a very nice one, either!

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I'll contact the administrator and see if they can flick her off.  I have nice fans who don't steal hubs, and I think I'll just keep them!  She also sent me a message when she joined my fan club, that was all cryptic and weird like she was taunting me. (Which really isn't a great plan.)  That part didn't post... it's just weird.

Anyway - thanks, I'll try some of your suggestions!

The way I've figured it out to work is that those fans of yours that you are not a fan of will stay at the bottom of the list.

My list of  fans has a "deny" button next to each-- I have never deleted one, but I would assume this button could eject one. On the other hand, the 'deny' might be just for comments posted.
If you DO delete-- the message you posted above will make people think you are talking about the one above the ejectee.

    Hey Rochelle,

I hit the deny/delete button. It only got rid of the comment, not the fan.  Thanks for the suggestion, though!
