I realize there is another thread on this issue, but it is now a week old, so that's why I'm starting a new one. Yesterday, for the first time, I was unable to upload photos using Google Chrome. I cleared the browser cache and made sure my version was the latest one. I have no trouble uploading photos with this current browser on other revenue-share platforms. Anyway, I appreciate any help you can give right now.
I am having the same problem since Tuesday night, 2 days now. I cleared cache, did Windows updates, ran my malware program, still nothing. So I switched browsers from Chrome to Mozilla and now I can still get the photos inserted in the hub but it takes more than 4 minutes for the photo to appear after the green bar fills saying the photo was uploaded. At my blog, there is no trouble uploading, it is only on this site I am having this problem. I thought it was only me. Thanks for posting this, I was getting worried.
Thanks for the details.
I just tested uploading an image from a photo capsule in the Hubtool.
I uploaded an image and it showed the upload progress as done, but then didn't display the image on the right side.
I then tried uploading the image again using "choose photos" and after the second attempt, both image then showed up. It looks like there may be a delay or other issue right now. So far it affects all browsers I tested (Chrome & Internet Explorer). I have forwarded this to our engineering team for further investigation so we can get a fix deployed.
Here's where the comments on the other thread are given about slow loading photos:

I found it very hard to work with it, almost impossible. As before I clicked on Computer, press Browse, and had the picture. had all my uploaded pictures there and pressed to uploade it. Now I can't get into my picture file. I can't download all the pictures for my hubs about a country.

Thank you to everyone who reported problems with the photo capsule. A new release just went out that fixed a big issue with Internet Explorer that was causing all kinds of problems and understandable stress for a number of users. I apologize for this, especially because it took so long to track it...

I have uploaded many images for my content, yet none seem to display with the story. Why? It indicated that all did upload OK. What is the reason? is there a delay?Perrya

Folks, yesterday I was trying to upload some images onto an existing hub. It had been imported from Squidoo, and in the original Lens, I had used links to images on my personal web site, which apparently HubPages doesn't support. I succeeded in uploading one image to replace an imported image, and...

I can upload an image but then I can´t see it. Is it only me or does everyone have the same problem right now?

liquidus.net substantially increasing load time and messing up regular hub image loads. Or maybe it's just me.
