So in - I'm so far behind on this one major project and it's mind numbing and repetitive short blurbs and descriptions for over 2000 items lol. I will need a periodic diversion to keep my sani .. I mean motivation up.
Periodic diversions can be good. I'll see if I can't find a band of ninjas to send your way. Good luck!
It is the last day of Spring Break for the boys and the last warm day we'll probably have this Spring lol - so I am going to get some fresh air and motivation and I shall be digging in starting this evening and making it an epic weekend.
Good luck to you
Thank you, I'll need it!
As much as I caught up last weekend I had setbacks this week when we had our floor replaced (supposed to take 4 hours-- took 1 1/2 days for the whole job!).
Progress Report:
Cups of Coffee: 2
Words: 1100
Mood: Frazzled.
I have been up for a little more than 4 hours and so far
- the dog is hyperactive
- the kids are procrastinating
- the husband is grumpy
- the mom has decided to clean out her closet and needs to call every 10 minutes if I want to keep something or if she should throw it out
- a client needs a 'rush job'- today!
- the building maintenance crew is doing noisy work a couple of doors down, with jackhammers or something
- worst of all- the coffee is weak. ;-/
The day will get better.
Progress Report:
Cups of Coffee: 3
Words: 2400
Mood: Annoyed
My research is going slow. I have to stop for a virus scan. Ugh.
virus removal in progress. Pfft. I should be able to write now though while it's going.
Sounds like you need some noise canceling headphones - Back from our outing - apparently everyone else in the free world thought today was a good day for the same outing - sat in traffic getting out of the park for an hour!
Going to get rolling now, had a nice light dinner and making a nice pot of evening coffee
Up and at it early this morning - well at least the coffee. A cup or two should liven up my brain so that I can dig in. I did manage a couple thousand words or so last night despite my procrastination, so feeling a bit more motivated this morning Goal is 200 product descriptions written today and then post the 500 or so I have to the clients website tomorrow.
PITA family, noisy workmen, viruses and now my internet was out this morning until a few minutes ago.
I feel like it's a conspiracy!
Progress Report:
Cups of Coffee: 6
Words: 3500
Mood: Ready to get serious!
Good luck to you as well! I know all about lack of cooperation my youngest is here with me today and dad and big brother are gone. I am trying to get stuff done so he's hungry every five minutes, can't find this, needs me to do that etc. So glad spring break is over and they go back to school this week
I love having them around don't get me wrong, but Summer is coming soon and I need to get some big jobs in in the meantime! They missed so many days this year due to snow and it's been a constant struggle to keep up with everything the past couple of months.
Hopefully this week = good progress time!
My kids homeschool, so they are around anyway. They're teens though (the ones that live at home) so they're pretty self sufficient about most things. Thankfully one went away last night for the weekend and one is going to a friends house for a couple of days on Monday, but it's quiet.
I'm hoping to catch up a lot this month. I hate being behind.

MY INTERNET KEEPS GOING IN AND OUT!! UGHHH!
And the dog got chicken bones out of the garbage which hopefully will not create any problems. Now I gotta worry about him this week.
Progress Report:
Cups of Coffee: 10
Words: 7300
Mood: FRUSTRATED!!!
And, the internet has been out again for the last 3 hours.
Sorry your internet keeps going out - that is frustrating. Where we live we only have one option, but fortunately if there is ever an outage they are right on top of it. I've never had an outage for longer than a couple of hours. Hope it gets resolved soon.
I managed to get most of what I set out to do done yesterday - not all, so I am doubling down today. I did get a killer workout in last night though so that has me feeling relaxed and energetic this morning despite not sleeping the greatest.
Hubs taking both boys to do the grocery shopping later that should def. help with quiet levels for awhile.
Good luck today!
I was so frustrated I slept in this morning and the DH and I went out to breakfast and to take a walk in the fresh air. It's a beautiful day here in the 70s.
I got some work done in the wee hours and they in and out internet was apparently a problem in the building, and they swear it's fixed. We'll see.
I have to finish up work for a client today on news articles and I have another client that I have to do some editing for on a couple of his articles.
So I am back to the drawing board right now feeling much better.
Glad you had some time to get outside in the fresh air - always helps us too. We took the kids to a matinee movie since it's the last day of Spring break and I found out a friend of mine is stopping over tomorrow on her way through town - so, I have to get cracking to get all my stuff done!
Got some evening coffee though, gonna skip my workout tonight and write on... 2 blog posts and uploading all the product descriptions I did. Then all week I get to do several hundred more.... sigh.

Aaaakkk! I have been so sick for 2 weeks and I am so behind on all my writing projects! I have articles due for clients next week, I have not published a hub in almost 2 weeks and forget my fiction. Anyway-- I will be here all weekend. I will have the house to myself so I am going to chow down on...

First time I tried this, I did awesome.Second time I tried this, it was terrible-- Murphey's Law kicked in with everything from nagging parents to internet connection issues to viruses. I took a break last weekend... but this coming Weekend (April 4) I am going at it full force again. Anyone...

When I was younger it didn't seem to matter when I drank coffee. I could happily enjoy a cup after the evening meal. Now it seems any caffiene after three o'clock in the afternoon and I'm wide eyed and bushy tailed well after midnight.

Me - I love Coffee - so I switch between decaf and caffine - so I don't blow a circuit LOL

Who's going to give it their last shot this weekend as the Grow the Pot Challenge comes to an end?How many times did you enter? Did you make the top ten? I entered (i.e. published and became featured) 3 times and made the top ten once.

Coffee or tea?And why? I like both, but coffee is the sure winner -- because it smells wonderful, no tea aroma can put a smile on my face like some fresh coffee aroma, and it makes me type faster. I can list more reasons, but I won't.
