Hi, is it still impossible to have the Google+ button on HubPages?
I know we had it a long time ago, then it disappeared. Just checking for an update. Thanks!
Although this is a request that we get regularly, the reality is that we currently do not get much traffic from Google+ as compared to several other social media platforms that are not available as buttons on the site. Each button displayed increases the amount of time it takes for each Hub to load (significantly in many cases as the image are loaded from servers other than HubPages'), so we made a decision to limit those available.
We understand that Google+ is growing and if we get a large number of people who request this feature, then we may revisit the social media options on all Hubs.
UPDATE: Here is a toolbar like @moonlake mentioned.
It is not available for all browsers.
(Firefox version has been discontinued)
Thanks for the info, Matthew. I get most of my social traffic from Pinterest, so at least we have that button.
Even so, you can still post hubs there simply by copying and pasting your URL to it.
Great information! I will be looking into the toolbar soon . . .
I just shared one of your hubs to Google+. You can add your own button to your toolbar works great.
I would love to see Google+ added to Hubpages. Google+ has grown into a major social network. It would also be a benefit to everyone. I'm surprised it hasn't been added, as well as other social platform options. Would love to see one for sure.
I agree with timetraveler. I share my URL on G+ and a pretty box shows my article with a picture and allows me to comment on the article. It's fast and simple to do if you keep G+ on your bookmark bar.

Traffic went down like the Titanic, this happened suddenly just over a week ago. What might be the cause? Who is seeing the same? I have a dark scent that HP, which is a critical platform as well, might become a victim of the Fake News doctrines. What do you think?

Did HubPages provide an explanation regarding why you can no longer easily share a Hub on Twitter using a button on the Hub? Why did they replace it with Flipboard?

When I sign in to see Adsense earnings, there is a recommendation to add the +1 button by copying a code.I was under the impression that HP did this for us. If wrong...where do we paste the code? Thanks!

The share button (for sharing to the newsfeed) has disappeared from hubs. I've seen other mentions of it too, in the Q&A. Is this a glitch, or is there an upgrade going on that I missed?

Week 2 - To be eligible, post the name of a hub you've written which you think is awesome, but gets low traffic. I'll select my fave and share it across all my social media and pin the share to the top of all my accounts. Yes, I'm happy for you to post the same hub in more than one week's thread.I...

A couple of hours ago we made an update to the site with 2 significant changes:1. The site was widened by 120 pixels. As Simone explained in her blog post a couple of weeks ago, this is to accommodate wider, premium ads that we'll be serving via the HubPages Ad Program as part of our direct sales...
