I found not that long ago that one of my recipe hubs was stolen and published on another site word for word (with some extra words added within my text) including the picture I used. I went to that site (ireport.cnn.com) and filed a DMCA with them. I never got a response from them. Then I forgot...

Today was the first time I've actually seen that little red copyright symbol next to one of my hubs. COPIED - What a nasty business. I filed a DMCA form on the offending site which posted my hub as their own back in 2011 on Blogspot. Wonder why it took so long to find the copy.Copycats and scrapers...

These Thieves are back up again.. and once again monetized with that company that has a dollar each way on both the thieves and the Copyright owners... Google!It appears that much of the HubPages content has been shifted or merely re-published with all links, authors and previous publishing sources...

I feel it is good now and then to check if any of our articles has been stolen, copied, etc., off HP. There was a forum last year that was agog with the issue of our stolen articles and some hubbers gave us tips on how to go online to check. The issue was eventually resolved.I can't seem to find...
