As summer will soon comes to a close and fall will usher itself in, it is time to start thinking about fall topics and Halloween. As freelance writers, we always need to think a season ahead, especially if you want to maximize seasonal earnings. Even retail stores are starting to put out Halloween decorations already. Why? To maximize earning potential. So here is my challenge:

    31 Hubs of Halloween

My goal is to write at least 31 Hubs relating to Halloween before October 31st. I actually hope to accomplish it before October 1st but for other writers who may want to join in on this challenge, I know some people don't have the time to write as much as others - plus we want to keep up with the long term/ year round earning hubs as well - but this will give plenty of time (77 days until Halloween) to reasonably complete the goal.

    Good luck and happy writing!

I love the Halloween season as much as the next guy and would love to try this nut there's no way I'd have time to produce 31 hubs in the eight weeks or so before Halloween...

This definitely sounds like a fun challenge. I'm trying to become more active here and this gives me new ideas.

I have already got 7 written for the challenge. I would post them but last time I got grounded from posting for 3 days even though when I participated in another hub challenge we all posted links.

I would love to read what others are writing in the challenge but I guess people aren't allowed to post their articles for the challenge, which is kind of sad.

Put them in your spotlight, and we will come look for them.

You ARE allowed to post links in the HubChallenge forum.  I don't know why the links were snipped - maybe because there was no one else participating.

      Hi Linda!

I'm really sorry for mistakenly snipping your links. Millionaire Tips is right; you ARE allowed to post your links to the HubChallenges forum:

      http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/105249

Again, my sincere apologies for the mistake. I hope you continue participating and encouraging others.

      Thanks,
      Camille

I've wanted to do a hub challenge like this for years! That someone else is going for it has prompted me to try too. I haven't written any Halloween hubs yet this year, but I spent the past few days brainstorming to see if I could really come up with 31 ideas - and I did!

So I'll be joining you in this challenge. Like you, I'm afraid to post the links as I did notice that yours were oddly taken out of the posts. But I'll post when I publish at least, and I'll be sure to follow you, Linda!

Awesome! I can't wait to see what you write. big_smile

I will say that I get the warding off spammy stuff but in challenges I think you should be able to post links. Heck, I look forward to seeing other people's work. It is also like an accountability thing. Even though you won't be penalized for not meeting the challenge it is a great self motivational tool. Not to mention, it may inspire others.

So how is everyone doing in the challenge? Now that it is confirmed that we can post links, anyone want to post links to their Halloween articles for the challenge? I would love to read some. big_smile
