I just want to say: Welcome to HubPages Squidoo Lensmasters! I hope we all learn a thing or two from you and can become one big writing community here at HubPages. When are the Squidoo accounts supposed to start being transferred to HubPages?
Thanks for the welcome! The transfer is supposed to have started on 20th August, but I think it will take a bit longer. Lots of work for the staff of both HP and Squidoo. :-)
HugPages here we come - hoping the transition goes pretty well and looking forward to learning more about HubPages too
Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to the transfer, already enjoying HubPages, starting to feel right at home .
Thanks for the welcome. I've seen more than one date for the proposed transfers. I guess it depends on whether you have an acct already or not on HP. Great to meet a new HP neighbor.
Thank you for your warm welcome. Now that we Squidoons are getting over the shock, it is comforting to find so many kind-hearted folks here on HubPages. According to the Squidoo FAQ about this transfer, the transfer will begin on August 29 and will complete by October 1.
Thanks for the welcome! I am eager and nervous all rolled in one. Like others, the whole idea was overwhelming at first. Now that I've explored and read, I think this is going to be a positive thing.
Thanks for the welcome, I have heard so many great things about HP from folks who write on both platforms.
I think it'll certainly be an adventure once our lenses migrate over. Sigh...I already know I have my work cut out for me but I am excited about it now
Good luck with transfers. I am so happy that I smelled a rat and jumped ship before this happened.

I'm not knocking anybody (or maybe I am) but I have seen several "Hubs" that transferred from Squidoo that are composed of nothing more than very thin content and a whole bunch of merchandising links (and even one lady who pimped her own Etsy page multiple times in her "Hub")....

Welcome Previous Squidoo and New HubPage Writers,I am rather new to HubPages myself, but I wanted to extend a warm greeting to HubPages. My question to all of you is: how do you like it so far? I myself was never a Squidoo writer so I am asking earnestly. Is there something's that we have that...

I was one of the oldies on Squidoo and the change over to HubPages happened at the same time as a major event in my life that required most of my last year so I've been very sloooow in becoming active here. In fact today is the first time I've spent more than an hour rectifying lacks on a bunch of...
