How do we back up (save) these hubs (like we did with our Squidoo lenses)?
Forgive me if this has been asked, but I cannot seem to find the answer after searching.
One way to backup your hub is:
1. Open a live hub, by clicking its URL;
2. Right-click (in a blank portion of the hub);
3. Choose the "save as" option;
4. Give it a file name;
5. Choose either "Webpage, Complete" or "Webpage HTML"
6. Click the "Save" button.
Thanks, AJ! That was one-half of the procedure for saving Squidoo lenses. Sheesh, I should have thought of that. : )
I use a Firefox add-on called ScrapBook. It works really well, also use it to save posts from my websites. Here's a great tutorial on how to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aUmTRrEsyE
Nate, thanks for the information and link about the Firefox add-on "ScrapBook." I had not known of this before and it looks like an excellent tool!
No problem CoeGurl. It's a great tool. It saves Hubs exactly as they are, images, text, the whole thing; copy looks just like the Hub. You just have to make sure you only save the Hubs, or else you'll be using up space for unnecessary stuff; all that is explained in the tutorial.
Thanks for posting this question! Not because I don't know how to do it, but because I've been forgetting to back up my edit lenses when I've made them comply with Hubpages rules.
Just as well you reminded me. :-)
Hi AJ! Glad to see you here Thanks for the information, I didn't know how to save my pages either.
I'll chime in and say "Thank you" too, AJ! I have been so busy since the transfer, I completely forgot to find out how to easily save my content. That'll do it!

Do you keep a backup of your Hubs? If so, do you keep it in your hard disk or elsewhere!Why I ask this is because I was writing for an online website earlier , before joining HubPages. I had saved the links to those 25 + articles that I had published there. Now when I click on those links , I get...

I am a little concerned about my hubs being sent into oblivion, sort of based on what happened with Squidoo and being an original member of that site and having to transfer my lenses over to HubPages.My question is: How do I back up my Hubs so that I have copies of all of my work?

I'm starting to panic about the (hypothetical) day HubPages ceases to exist and I lose all my precious work.Does anyone have a plan B? do you take backups? how? are we protected under HubPages Terms and Conditions?

I'm still having problems saving text capsules that have links in them.I've been having the problem for months now. Every now and then I can't save text capsules that have contextual links within the capsule. I'm using Firefox and I've tried Safari today. I can only get it to work most of the time...

I was curious to see how one of my hubs looks to outside visitors who have an ad blocker in their browser. Having done this, I just discovered that the Adblocker Plus used in Firefox blocks the "More in this Series" section at the bottom of our hubs where our group's next and last are...

Hello Staff,I remember someone else starting a thread on this topic and I went back a 2 weeks looking for the thread, but unable to find it.However, I came across "ad code" being displayed on one of my hubs and I took a picture of it, so Staff can see it for themselves.I hope it's just a...
