While editing a Hub today I noticed that some of my Amazon descriptions were wrong. They were very old, and sometimes didn't even match the product. This seems to be a bug introduced by Squidoo when they merged Amazon Spotlight (single product) with the regular Amazon module (multiple products). The descriptions from back then were saved in the module, invisible to the users, and now (in some rare cases?) imported and displayed on HubPages.
If your pages were affected, you can still find the newer description in the XML export and fix it without having to rewrite everything from scratch. When you open the XML file, you will see that each bugged module has several descriptions, like "single_desc" and "desc_B007VF2OOC", so just grab the one you need.

I am confused about putting a product on my hub. I can do the product, but if I try to imbed the description, it is HTML. I cannot find an answer at Amazon or in the FAQ here. I am a new associate. Thanks.
