I am grinning, while writing this. Moments ago, I published a new hub. I will add some more to it, but wanted to get it live. A very few minutes after I published it - mind you, it is still pending - it showed that I had 26 views! How is that possible?
Your own views while you are editing are counted.
Aha. I wondered about that. Thanks for the information, Matthew Meyer.
Thank you, Matthew. It gave me quite chuckle!
My PC is old and flaky so I do lots of "done editing" to make sure it takes. However not 20! Well, maybe 19.
Well, Robert, I had a lot of checking to do. Just about every time I was in the throes of editing, I had to get up and wait on a customer, so I "saved" and edited again, a lot! I just figured it was a glitch, until I read what Matthew said.
Really, I was amused!

I have a hub published over 24 hours ago.......but the hub is still pending (Little House). However, a hub I published this morning is already reviewed and featured. The one that is still pending is getting a lot of views so I'm anxious for it to go on through. I'm not sure...

Right now, while a Hub is pending, it doesn't show ads, it has a "no follow" tag etc. However our followers get notified and they may share the Hub during that time. It would be nice if that notification could be delayed, too.

How do I have 14 views and comments on a hub that is pending being published?I wrote the entire hub in one sitting without re-editing, so it can't be my own views.

If updating a hub that is featured, say your best hub, a Hub-of-the-Day hub, a contest winner, or such, puts it into a no-index state until it's reviewed again, why would one want to ever update it?I have such a hub that has an almost constant broken link symbol. Every time I've checked the link in...

I just completed a one year study of the best times for me (my time zone) to publish a hub in order to gather the most initial one day views. I have found that when I publish a hub at 2:30 pm (Florida time/Pacific time) I get the most views in a one day frame. The reasoning is that at 2:30 pm it is...

Any ideas why a hub that was published on the 22nd, score of 87, and 100 views, is pending still?Obviously a quality hub with the score and number of views. Why are other hubs which were published later not pending and this one still is. It doesn't even show in the topics. I feel like I am getting...
