How do I have 14 views and comments on a hub that is pending being published?
I wrote the entire hub in one sitting without re-editing, so it can't be my own views.
I think your hubs are available for your followers to view immediately after publishing, while it's going through the quality assessment process, during pending.
I too have had this happen...hp states your hub is not yet published, only you can view it..and then BAM comments out the wazooo...then sometimes in a matter of hours..I get this hub is substandard or appears to similar to another that has already published elsewhere on the internet....which really is really confusing to me...I only write original writes on hp...I write other articles but for other sites...
so if it's not published how can others view them ?.....will look forward to what others comment...
yes, i too had encounter this issue. I think viewers could see your hub even though it is under going the quality assessment process.
The pending hub appears in your follower's feeds as soon as you submit it. If you post links to social media, it can also be accessed that way.
You are a wordsmith artist. The calibrations and algorithms are not of you, for you or should they be important to you.
I watch the same game, I like it and try to play it like I do the lotto.
You are good. Be good and do not question your worth.
Hub hopping is what I always assume, when I get comments immediately after publishing and the hub is supposed to be pending.
I just love to Hub hop read and comment on a brand new one, sometimes a comment notice will go up before the writer thinks they are done.
Great answer. I did not know they went to the hopper immediately.

What is the difference between a hub being published and featured? My first hub was featured, now I submitted two more, and they are both published, pending being featured. I don't understand the difference between the two.

I find it kind of ridiculous that I have been waiting for a couple weeks now for one of my hubpages to be published. What was the longest time you have ever had it take to get a hubpage to publish?

I love HubPages, I feel that I have learned so much here and my confidence in writing non-fiction took such a huge leap when I was invited onto the Apprenticeship program last year. I have met some wonderful people here - both staff and other Hubbers. But as may other people have said, the idling...

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...

As reported in the Forums certain hubbers appear to have "Pet" status and their new hubs get published immediately without the 24-48 hours "pending" delay (orbiting arrows). What's the criteria for this (all had hubber scores above 95). or is it related to what's in the hub -...

There is a lot of anger and/or frustration relating to the 'pending' system and most of it is down to the fact that it's not clear why there are exceptions - this is justified and there should be open-ness. (Note this only is aimed at new hubs, not hubs that become un-featured later)One way to do...
