I read that the big traffic days on Hubpages tend to be Sunday and Monday but looking at my Analytics report I get a spike every Thursday. When does everyone else here tend to see the most traffic?
Why does it matter? I don't believe in wasting time on stats like that, they don't help me get more readers.
It matters if you want to target a certain group of readers. It can help you gain new readers also if you use social media during prime times.
Great question. Across my HubPages accounts, I see spikes in terms of hours. My traffic is highest on the weekdays between 2 and 5 p.m. and then 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
my traffic picks up when there is a season or festival, like halloween, valentines day
I don't think that's true. (I saw someone post that recently.) From what I've seen through the years, traffic is best Tues-Thurs. Wed. is usually peak day, sometimes Thurs. For me, it's midweek. Fri. generally starts the weekend decrease.
i agree with @rebekahELLE on Fridays till Saturdays people go out, taking a break from work so we tend to get less traffic on those days.
I think it might depend on what you write about. I get the most traffic on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The majority of my hubs are about cosmetics, so I think my peak-time readers could be looking for make-up ideas etc. for family occasions like weddings and generally going out at the weekend.
@Jayne Lancer made it clear she writes about cosmetics that makes my point even more convincing, because girls when they like to get out they want to look at their best.
About all others subjects that doesnt help about going out, they tend to get less visitors, i bet if there is a hub about football scores will get good traffic those days, because a guy need to know the scores so that he show off to his friends, " i know how much Lakers score over Eagles" eg.
who agrees?
Over the last eight years here, my Hubs peak days have shifted around.
It's important to pay attention to when your audience is online.
Jayne Lancer and relache make good points. Sundays and Mondays are my best days.
Traffic seems to roll in at 12pm for me, but I still haven't grasped when hubpages updates their stats.

I suppose with the latest Google Panda update and all the low traffic we've been getting, I guess it's time to start writing more hubs. While I wasn't affected too badly by the update, I still want to increase my traffic and hit payout next month or the month after. I want to hit 80 hubs by the end...

I am always surprised that guest blogging is never discussed on HubPages. We all know it's important to have backlinks pointing to our Hubs and websites. We also know that Google is working hard to detect and devalue links which are artificially created - things like directory...

HubPages is still 100% friendly with Google - From every indications, this is all about the quality of what comes up top with Google search results; bringing down less useful content. Hardly do crapy or less informative hubs make it to top rankings with Google including HuBPages placement...

I am writing this after seeing yet another recent low for my traffic this morning. It seems an unending downward trend. HubPages, please file this under constructive criticism. Or whatever. I feel like I am screaming into the void at this point anyway.Getting rid of the top video was a good start,...

There should be a quick and easy way for readers who aren't interested in writing to sign up and follow HubPages writers, topics, or niche sites without actually signing up for HubPages. I just had a reader say they really like PetHelpful and wanted to subscribe to the site. Unfortunately, the only...

Since I migrated here from Squidoo two months ago, I've seen a steady stream of threads in this forum, complaining about lost page views. There are a lot of theories about why it's happening, and how much it's happening, and what can be done to get into Google's good graces.Google is not my #1...
