I've had a notification of a broken link on my hub 'Lest We Forget' but there is nothing highlighted. What is going on? I can't correct it if I don't know what it is!
It's this one:
Name of the Missing on the Pillars
Source: http /www.battlefield-tours.com/Copy to...
Did you check your broken links in your account section Ann? It would have told you. Besides the links are supposed to have lines through them, not highlighted.
Thanks, Kevin. Writer Fox was right about the link but it wasn't highlighted, nor crossed through, but thanks for the tip about where to find it elsewhere.
In the past all my broken links have been highlighted as stated in the notification at the top of the hub when in edit mode.
Thanks to all who've found the broken link for me! It seems it's a little more complicated when it's a photo source link but it's sorted now so I'm fine.
Photos are hard Ann. You should always post the source which they come from. When I have broken links I test each photo by going to the source and checking to see if it still goes to the original site.
I think this should be indicated as broken in the HubTool in edit mode as well as in the broken links page.
Can you share the specific URL that had issues as well as in what Hub and capsule it was located?
Yes, they used to be highlighted, but no longer. Go under your account and at the top click on broken links, and it will show up there.
I wonder if there may have been a temporary problem with the broken links. I had one this afternoon, it was a YouTube video.
I removed it but it still showed in my account page as a broken link. I have just checked it again and it has now disappeared.
The same thing happened to me Zoey. I deleted the link and it still showed as broken. I have had more broken links recently then ever before, and some links work for me that are shown as broken.

Have you had this happen to you? I searched for the highlighted broken link but I could not find one. So how do you clear the notice?

About 36 hours ago, I found the Broken Link skull on this hub: http://swisstoons.hubpages.com/hub/general-quizContrary to the message, nothing was highlighted. I searched every link on the page twice and found no broken links. Nevertheless, I removed the only ebay link I'd posted. I...

Matthew, I got a broken link icon for this hub. When I put it in edit mode, nothing is highlighted. I deleted one pic I thought it might be and two promotional comments with a website.com. It's still saying that the broken link is there but I can't find it. Please check,...

We just made a small update to the site. The biggest change is the addition of the broken link report. It will show you broken links in your text and link capsules. We'll be trying to test all links about once a week, and re-test broken links every 24 hours or so. A link could be...
