I am new here. I have a question...I typed in my title to my hub, yet I can't seem to locate where to type in the text. Can somebody help me with this please? Chances are the answer is right in front of me...I am just not seeing it.

Hi Lou and welcome to HubPages.  Ok, you have the title. Did you choose a category? After choosing a category, scroll down and choose a format for your hub - best for now is to choose the basic format then click on the Continue button at the bottom. This will take you to the text page.  Here is a link where you will find some help:

    Have fun creating your hub/

    Lou,
Before it will allow you to continue, you must return to the top and there is a tiny word above, or after, your title in blue which says, "EDIT". Click this and type in a word, or words, to allow you to go on. It may say, "chosen" or "selected" when it says this then you must select a different choice until it is does not, then you can click on continue at the bottom.
    Welcome to HubPages. smile

Hi Kevin. smile  Why do you have to go back up to the top and click on edit for the title?  I have never had to do this unless my title has already been used by someone else - then I would have to edit and change my title.

I enter my title, choose the category, choose the format, then click on continue. There is no problem, unless as I say, my title is already used.

        Phyllis,
As far as I remember, I do not think that I have ever written a Hub without doing so. When I asked about it, or spoke to someone, it sounded normal.

Hmmm - that is really odd to me. I have never had to do that. Thanks, Kevin.

Does anybody know what a TOS violation is?  Apparently I did it, and now I can't sign up for adsense.  Does that mean I never get paid?  This is very frustrating.

Did they say that you can never sign up or are kept from signing up for a certain amount of time? TOS is an abbreviation for Terms of Service. Did you read theirs? Apparently you did not follow the rules properly. I would write them and ask which rule(s) I violated so that if it is just a temporary suspension from signing up you can read, or re-read, the Terms of Service so that you will know them for next time.
In the meantime while you are waiting to hear from them, keep writing Hubs, etc., at HubPages.

Thanks for your help.  Apparently, I am a better writer, than computer geek.  I probably did it wrong.  However, I was just allowed to resubmit.

Hi sosown. You really should start your own thread with this question, since it is not on topic with Lou's subject. In that way, you will get the attention and help you need, for your question is not easy for others to find.

Please go to http://hubpages.com/help/user_agreement  to read the TOS and you may find your answer there. A TOS violation is not following or doing something not allowed according to the TOS (Terms of Service, or Terms of Use) Also, with your own thread more people will jump in and give you the help you need. I am not very knowledgeable on Adsense issues, but there are many other hubbers who are - so, if you start your own thread someone will be along to help you.

Just click on the Forum button at the top of the newsfeed (main page) and follow the instructions.

Good luck to you on this issue. smile

Thanks for your help.  I am not that computer saavy.  I am sure when I originally signed up, I hit the wrong key.  I have totally given up with the photos!  I know I couldn't have  violated anything, because I was never a part of it!  I'm not the most patient person on the planet, either.  Sorry, for butting in, but I couldn't find the place to submit the "dumb question" I had, so I opted to ask on a similar topic.

OK...how do I get back to the hub I was trying to post. Funny thing though...I am usually pretty good at figuring these things out...maybe I am having a brain cramp.

Look up top of a page and there is a black strip. In that strip you will see "Lou Devone" (your username). Hover your mouse pointer above this, below that a list will appear. At the top of the list is "my account", move your pointer straight down and click on that. What appears is your statistics page. This shows all of the Hubs which you have written. You should see the one that you were working on; to get back to it to read it you click on the name; at the far left is a gray box which says 'Edit', you click n this to change or add anything.
