I was just curious, has anyone made any money with ebay, kontera, or amazon?
I know that everyone has talked about making money with adsense in about 10 to 12 months time. I have not seen any posts on anybody bragging about a check from the other 3 sources.
Thanks for the info in advance.

Little on Kontera, not a dime on Ebay and Amazon.

I don't use Kontera but my Amazon and eBay sales are improving.

With Amazon, you really must use the ASIN code to pick specific products which are directly relevant to the content of your Hub.  I didn't make any sales while I was using keywords.

I find eBay frustrating for that reason, because you can't control it to the same extent.  I've only made sales where it's easy to be specific using keywords - for instance, my Hub about how to use Isis Wings has eBay ads for Isis Wings, and I've made a few sales.

I hear that Kontera is like Adsense but people aren't getting as much revenue from it.
    Just my 2 cents..

To use Kontera, it is suggested that you might wanna make at least 5 dollars a month through another affiliate before joining Kontera.  Otherwise, it might not count the 5 dollars you make.  I think it is just best to stay away from Kontera, thats what I do smile  I applied for eBay, but they didn't accept me sad  I dont like Amazon because you have to give your Social Security number yikes.  Anyway, thats just my advice.  Good luck on making money.  Ive made a whopping $8.26 on Google AdSense (LOL)  At least its a good start.  Google AdSense is the best one in my opinion though...

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for the information John,
I have been rejected by e-bay at least 5 times all for different sites. It seems they have no problem taking my money as an e-bay customer, but do not want to pay me for recommending any of their products, Oh-well life goes on! I have not applied to Kontera yet, I will take your advice not to until I am making some money with the others. Thanks for your input.

Yeah seriously! LOL! Yep, life goes on... Maybe they will accept all of us someday. At least we have Google AdSense.  You have Adsense, right?

John, Yes thanks for asking. Google adsense has been a friend to me for a few years now. I know they do not pay as well as some other places, but at least when you hit the $100 they do pay smile

I think kontera is worthless, poorly targeted, low paying and just to obtrusive.

But amazon and eBay perform great for me, on HUbpages and my external sites...eBay tends to be the better performer, I think that 24 hour cookie makes a big difference(amazon)

I dont find that one has to use the ASIN number, when using keyword search remember that the search box accepts the "-" options

so if your trying to sell "The secret" book and you put in the the secret - and the results show books, dvds, and memorabilia

you can enter ( the secret -dvd )

and no results featuring dvd will display
