Just by chance (well not really since it's on Analytics) I found that a website for photographers
knotphotogenic.com, has my link on their site.

Apparently this site is about lessons, ideas, tips and pretty much everything photography. I didn't ask or even knew about them but thought that it was nice to be included.... So my message from this is that through perseverance (and obliviously time) eventually you will get to be known or recognized in one way or another.

I think it also illustrates the value of specialising in a particular topic which you're passionate about.

It's very, very tough to get recognised as "a writer" with no special focus. Whereas it IS possible to get recognised as someone with valuable information on one particular field.  As you say, it takes work and perseverance but it sounds like you're getting there, congrats!

Yes, eventually it happens. I guess it takes time to be noticed. I was pleasantly surprised a few times to be linked by some fairly big deal sites and some other sites while not as big were decent sites for sure.

Well done! With hundreds of photography Hubs, it's not surprising that you've been picked up as an authority. Here's hoping more sites will follow suit. smile

Since I noticed it I have seen about a few dozen visits from them. Kind of makes me feel like it's worth it to keep writing!!!!!!
