I have been getting a large number of link errors for image information (e.g. http://Alexander). I am certain that these errors are generated within the HP system which is swapping the Name of Source and the Source URL in the database, or some such. It started as a tickle over the last 3 says and today I got about 20 of these. Please check and fix this as it takes a lot of manual change to correct it. This is happening to very old hubs. I am certain I did not make these errors. HELP!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
This is not a bug.
There is a bug that will result in a URL not being higlighted, but those indicated as broken are actually broken, so it makes these harder to find.
In most cases this is related to the URL source field in a photo capsule, a field that is optional, so you can remove it or replace it with a valid URL.
Please see this forum thread for more details.
I also checked your account for broken links and do not currently see any indicated on this page.
Thanks for the feedback. much appreciated - I don't understand why these 'errors' should suddenly pop up on old hubs that your system has been sniffing over for months or years. Perhaps the tests within the photo attribution area are new? But life goes on. Well see.
I've had the same problem. But they insist it's not happening. http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/129302#post2715960

Why can't you just tell us the errors in our ways? Why do we have to figure them out on our own?REALLY HUBPAGES?! All of a sudden I have broken links on four of my hubs. One hub I hadn't even touched in 10 MONTHS! The others a half a year! WHY NOW?! They were fine this entire time. I really don't...

Have you had this happen to you? I searched for the highlighted broken link but I could not find one. So how do you clear the notice?
