I have just spent another frustrating session on Hubpages. The thing is -- I like the format. It seems like a good place to write. However, I have a problem whenever I try to edit one of my Hubs. Every time I delete a module or add a new one, it doesn't save the way it's supposed to and I have to go back and repeat whatever action I've taken over and over again.
I know many of you are helpful, which is why I'm asking the question yet again. I posted it as a question once or twice before.
In caae I'm not being clear, I'll give the example of today's experience. I deleted about four Amazon modules from my hub "Projects for Recycling Milk Cartons." I had to repeat the action about four times because every time I pressed the "finished editing" button and looked at my hub, all those modules appeared back where they used to be. I am trying to be careful that I don't press that button or the preview button until the "working" notice is finished circling around.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer this question. A person can't improve a hub unless the system allows it to happen.
Hi Sheila and sorry you are having trouble with edits you make to your Hub.
Please first clear your browser cache and restart your computer to see if that addresses it. You may want to try another browser as well.

If you are still having issues, please include the Hub URL and/or title, information to identify the capsule or capsules with which you are having issues and the browser, browser version, and operating system you are using to to team@hubpages.com and we can research further.
Matt, You are asking Sheila for the same thing. What came of the info I sent you last week with that same info you had requested. I sent you the URL of the hub and a screenshot showing the two capsules. I got your reply, but no further findings. I just made changes again to another hub and the same thing happened. I am finding that it takes an hour for the changes to appear in the published version.
@Glenn
I passed the information on to our engineering team, as well as Sheila's latest details. I do not have any update to share at this time, but will post more information as it becomes available. Thanks for your continued patience.
Thanks Matt. I saw your reply in the prior thread that you just left with the good news. Glad to hear you were able to reproduce the problem in-house.
@Sheila
There is a new version of Chrome available.
Please download and install it to see if that addresses the issue.
I thought I had downloaded it but I just look and the installation wasn't finished. I'll check and see whether it makes a difference. Thanks, Matthew, for your help.
I'm not sure if I can help, and my question may not be relevant, but do you save the module when in edit mode? I'm sure you do, so hope there's someone who can help you with this perplexity.
Sheilamarie, check on this thread that was in the technical problems discussions...
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/130123
I hope this helps.
sheilamarie78 - This may be related to the same issue I reported in the thread that lbrummer posted above. There seems to be a delay with edits appearing in the published version. If you wait 24 hours and check back on the hub you had modified, you may find that all the changes you made are finally reflected in the final version.
The problem looks like, you are around children. You need to used another computer or device. It could be that someone moved your settings in an innocent way. Or you drop your device. You need to set up your CP from the beginning of the program. Good luck fixing your problem.
Thanks for your suggestions, erorantes, but I'm afraid children can't be the problem. My children are all adults living elsewhere. Which settings could have changed? What is my CP? I'm afraid I don't understand.
Sheila,
Do any problems occur in other programs on your computer - online or offline? What are you using - desktop, laptop, other? Windows, Mac, etc.? Chrome, Yahoo...?

One of our goals this year is to simplify infrastructure and retire features that are seldom used. Deciding to retire something can be tough, but in the long run it is worth it. A leaner HubPages will not only perform better, but will allow us to focus our efforts on the features that are most...

I am screaming with frustration! Most of my hubs have been unfeatured due to lack of traffic. I write about gardening which no one wants to read about in the winter. Spring is coming so I want to get my hubs featured again, but every time I try to edit them, I either get an error...

First problem seems to be that I have no adsense ads on this hub in a couple of days Second problem that is bugging me is that I got what seemed to be some spam comment that I denied that went along the lines of "thanks for the ads" from a hubber I didn't recognize (unfortunately I hit...
