Google finds excuses to reject my Adsense applications!
Then,I had written 3 mails to the Adsense support, quoting that 4 of my hubs are in the first spot in the first page of google search and 2 are in the 3rd and 5th place respectively in the first page of google search as well !
Finally this is the reply I received today and I have no idea what this is all about.
Can someone please explain how I go about with this instruction which I just received.
Hello Laila,
Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google AdSense
at this time.
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.
Issues:
- Domain ownership not evident
---------------------
Further detail:
Domain ownership: To complete our review, we need to confirm your
ownership of the site you've submitted. Please follow the steps below:
1. Access the source code of www.hubpages.com.
2. Create a separate page on the site and paste "This post confirms my
ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program
policies and Terms and Conditions."
3. Resubmit the application as described below after replacing
www.hubpages.com in the 'Website URL' with the URL of the page where you have pasted the snippet.
Any advise? Thanks.
Ummm, are you sure you gave them the correct url? I beleive it should have been your profile url - http://hubpages.com/profile/Laila+Rajaratnam . Also, it is important that there are no WWW. in the url, all hubpages urls are http://hubpages.com.... without www.
If you are sure you gave them the right URL, I would just put this phrase on top of your profile bio...
Also, I would make sure that in whatever application you need to fill, you specify that you do not own the whole hubpages domain, but rather publish on it and take part in revenue sharing on this domain.
Misha..thanks..this time I just gave www.hubpages.com.But then, last time when I sent them with my profile I got the following reply
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.
Issues:
- Page type
---------------------
Further detail:
Page Type: In order to participate in Google AdSense, publishers'
websites and application information must satisfy the following
guidelines:
- Your website must be your own top-level domain (www.example.com and
not www.example.com/mysite).
- Your domain must have been registered and active for at least 6
months. before you apply for AdSense.
- You must provide accurate personal information with your application
that matches the information on your domain registration.
- Your website must contain substantial, original content.
Did I make the mistake of putting in the www? Thanks Misha.Anything more you would like to add..I will be so thankful!
Google sometimes has its own policy in accepting website. Website who do not comply with their rules usually will be reject. I recommend you to write you own blog and buy a new domain name prefix with www and after six months, you submit this website to Google Adsense. Usually it works.
Oya, you can't submit www.hubpages.com, because you don't own hubpages. You're just a publisher.
I hope it can make clear of what you're facing.
Thanks so much..I get the picture now!I'll resubmit!
But you may want to read this blog, if you will.
Whitney05 did it without a domain in less than twenty minutes. You may have to refer to her.
The link to the blog was very useful..thanks a lot!Yes..I'll contact Whitney too!
Did you try signing up through blogger.com? Create couple of blogs at blogger.com and then from inside blogger.com, get to add adsense program. May be you will get approved.
I think that this is definitely the way to go. You could also buy a domain name and get some web hosting and do it that way, but that costs money and probably won't get you approved any faster.
